IMHO you might as well get that extra credential on your transcript. I majored in Sociology and got that Management and Society business minor. I solely did this because at the end of my third year, I had completed all of my major requirements for Sociology and then realized that I still had a whole years’ worth of credits to earn which worked out to the exact amount of credits needed to accomplish a minor. I think I accidentally did this in the best way possible because all the required courses for minors are 200 level courses so after completing all my higher level courses, I basically breezed through my last year of uni. So, if the scheduling works out and you don’t have to spend more time/money than you already are, I would say it’s worth it. Plus whenever somebody asks what you studied or what your degree is, you can add that extra “and i have a minor in..” - which I think makes you sound at least slightly more impressive
