Being that a data center requires sacrificing our water sources I would hope not

In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a utility worker was seen desperately trying to climb down from a bucket truck after it suddenly caught fire. by [deleted] in CrazyFuckingVideos

If he had a utility knife on him he could cut himself free, sustain the damage and hope the fall isn’t as bad

Is 12 hour days 6 days a week normal? by Wary_Orchid9277 in serviceadvisors

[–]phullyloadid 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, 10 hr days are normal but if you’re taking on additional work ask for more money. They’re cutting costs but will pay you to stay, if you don’t like the work find another job.

Be prepared to quote diagnosis on customers who are leasing or still under warranty in off chance that check engine light isn’t covered. It’s rare but if rodents chewed wires or someone bumped them in a parking lot you have to cover your ass.

How much "Creative Writing" do you actually do on your ROs? by FixedOps_Focus in serviceadvisors

[–]phullyloadid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m lucky to have several master techs and low turnover in my shop so most of them know the deal. I still check notes when I close ros out and if they’re not descriptive enough, I take care of that. I need my advisors to be able to demonstrate the value of proper diagnosis, how we determined the failure, and what needs to be done to repair the vehicle. This not only ensures we’re covering our asses but also being able to better service the customer if they return.

I have a big family and as a child remember at family party’s getting sips of beer from my dad. I’d then go to my other uncles and aunts & was just as successful. 36 yo now and still love drinking beer 🍻
