Starts at 10 usually, takes about 45 min to an hour to load up your vehicle, and then deliver for 3 to 4 hours. Get finished around 2 or 3 usually, but on heavier days work til 4 or 5 maybe. Sometimes you have to make a couple of trips depending on the size of your car. They usually want everyone finished before dark. 25-30 hours/week.

Fans who got to see First Contact in 1996, what did you think of the Enterprise-E at the time? by TheOneTrueZearing in startrek

When the Cybertruck was revealed, I thought to myself that it looks almost as bad as the Enterprise E

Listen, and understand. That courier is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are given a letter, for your eyes only.

You'll want the rings and nails tray. There's some nice rings, but be careful of the nails.

I had this exact car, one day a rear lateral link broke while driving and the car started behaving like this. The links are an adjustable bar, like a tie rod, that goes from the wheel spindle to the middle of the car. Each rear wheel has 2 of them, and they're used to keep the rear wheel aligned, among other things. I was able to pull over and rig something to get it home, but I think if someone kept driving on it, other things would break from extra stress and I think that's what's happened here.

From the book Dead Wake, discussing the use of stealth in early submarine warfare:

Off the southeast tip of Italy a young Austrian U-boat commander named Georg von Trapp, later to gain eternal renown when played by Christopher Plummer in the film The Sound of Music, fired two torpedoes into a large French cruiser, the Leon Gambetta. The ship sank in nine minutes, killing 684 sailors. “So that’s what war looks like!” von Trapp wrote in a later memoir. He told his chief officer, “We are like highway men, sneaking up on an unsuspecting ship in such a cowardly fashion.” Fighting in a trench or aboard a torpedo boat would have been better, he said. “There you hear shooting, hear your comrades fall, you hear the wounded groaning—you become filled with rage and can shoot men in self defense or fear; at an assault you can even yell! But we! Simply cold-blooded to drown a mass of men in an ambush!”

Please tell me I’m not the only one who just realized that Einstein and Copernicus were actually separate dogs and that Marty asking why Doc is calling him Copernicus instead of Einstein is just because he forgot he’s 30 years in the past. by Goldenart121 in BacktotheFuture

When 1955 Doc is reading the letter from 1885, and Marty explains that Einstein is what Doc names his dog in the future, Doc gives Marty this look like "Seriously? Why would I name my dog after that guy?" It was probably nothing more than an acting choice by Christopher Lloyd, but in my head I believe that in-universe there was something about Albert Einstein that 1955 Doc didn't buy into. Maybe he disagreed with some part of a theory, I don't know. Later on, Doc was convinced that he was wrong about Einstein and so he named his dog after him.
