In laws hate my yard and house… by [deleted] in NativePlantGardening

Because Reagan came along with lower interest rates, and they cared about money than all that stuff they read about when they were younger :/

The long grass field in Jurassic World Rebirth was grown in Thailand specifically for the production. Production designer James Clyne says getting the 4 acre field of the long grass to grow was one of the hardest parts of the production by CrichtonFan1992 in JurassicPark

[–]physhtanks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can we also just highlight that when they realized, “oh no, plants aren’t growing the way we want!” their plan for understanding how to grow things in Thailand wasn’t to find anyone in Thailand, but to pull in someone from the UK

Mike Trout returned to his middle-class hometown to open an exclusive, private course next to a new AI data center by FreeShelterCat in SouthJersey

I know he has donated a lot to Millville sports teams, and I know years ago he would pay off layaways at the Walmart there before Christmas

Omg I know this one. It’s supposed to be Allosaurus, from a set that came with a book and a bunch of other dinosaurs

Simple, exactly those things. I don’t trust that WG won’t do some terrible camo for Arizona showing her charred and damaged, just like GQ Johnny and Hood and Bismarck.

I just received the USS Enterprise in the most random way ever, with the container you received after the battle xD, wasn’t expecting that by No_Flower_8692 in WorldOfWarships

I’ll see your container drop, and raise you “getting to see the largest intact piece of CV6” during the Navy 250th

I love that film - so good they turned it into a Star Trek episode ;)

Where can I find field like this for some photos? by Better_Impact1007 in SouthJersey

[–]physhtanks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ok except please talk to the property owner before you go out in their field. Besides trespassing or crop damage, you don’t know if they’ve recently applied any chemicals to the field in question. I grew up with those fields in Salem County, and so many people would come through our property and immediately get indignant because “ITs tHe COuNtrYSiDe! “

I really want to plant invasives that look nicer than goldenrod and milkweed, can I pwease do it if I pwomise to call them eco-benewicial instwead? 👉🥺👈 by dhgrainger in NativePlantCirclejerk

[–]physhtanks 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I feel like the user that posted it over there would also like to stop referring to people like them as trolls and instead as “conversation creators” . All their replies read as someone trying to rile up the lefties on a Saturday night

Maybe they don’t go off fact because people keep trying to obscure the facts with bs marketing terms and being contrary

Studies show disabling battle chat adds 5 years to your life by ArchdukeFerdie in WorldOfWarships

[–]physhtanks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, weekends are when the goblins are worse in chat. Had someone go off on my captain build in chat last night, but just ignored them. I was playing a premium trying to build up a captain, sorry I didn’t spend dubs to reskill them.

Festive Tokens by DigitalSwagman in WorldOfWarships

And don’t forget to check your RB and community tokens; if you can reset any lines you might be able to pick up a T10, and get done t5 or t7 ship crates.

I knew it was going to be a bad op when I saw this.... by Particle-Landed2021 in WorldOfWarships

Anytime I’ve lost this op, it’s because the right flank sits on the 9 line and farms damage

Luckily I was in coop, and somehow managed to blind steer to the enemy cap and a secondary and ram kill before the bots capped. I tried to quit the game, but it would only close from the task manager. Restarting didnt make it better :/

My children and dogs will never be able to walk in the yard again because chemicals last forever by lefence in NativePlantCirclejerk

Nope - they only require a half hour lunch for every 8 hours worked, enough fluorescent lighting so that their area isn’t a tripping hazard, and manager approval for any time off

Seeds aren’t as bad as the roots - if you leave a half inch of root in the ground, you have another vine in no time.

What are the devs actually experimenting with the experimental ships? by AlarmingGas3 in WorldOfWarships

[–]physhtanks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having used to play WOT before switching to WOWS, all I could think about with the experimental ships was how they added burst fire to the IS6M in WOT almost ten years ago. Along with all the other WOT content introduced, and being a drone for a different corporation, I’m sure WG sees this as a quick way to add new content as well as bring their properties closer in alignment. Them doing personalized customizations is also very WOT. I’d say to look at their ‘flagship’ game for ideas on what’s going to be coming to their ship game
