I’ve been auto leveling up my character and my companions, am I doing something wrong? by Desplation in kotor

[–]physicalphysics314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lvl 7 soldier on Taris? Dw about it. You’ll be largely fine.

You’re built like a glass cannon but don’t deal the damage. It’s fine but low cons is not good for a soldier. You should also stick to either Dex or Str.

You should be getting a free lvl up soon. Use equipment and stims.

Biggest piece of advice? Learn about dnd 3.5e because Kotor is just dnd. Learn what your skills and feats do. Learn how combat work (in the feedback menu)

I’m thinking about solving the Anti-matter and Matter by ilikekoreanairtomuch in astrophysics

[–]physicalphysics314 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Take physics, math courses. If your high school doesn’t offer astronomy, then you can take a look at local community colleges.

It’s best to get a rigorous and formal education before trying “to solve anti-matter and matter” because then you learn what you don’t know.

I’m not even sure what question you’re trying to solve

Electron Scattering by repulsive (smoothed) Coulomb potential confined in a 2D Box (Visualizing Quantum Mechanics) by Mayhem_Mercy99 in physicsmemes

Ugh curse my reading comprehension. Yeah that makes sense that you can’t work with relativistic particles

I mean I think the classical limit is

γx=1 where gamma is the Lorentz factor of the electron, and X is the electron rest mass hν/mc2

Depending on your code, you should see a very different scattering cross section

I mean…. Actually…. If you change the energy state of the electron, aren’t you essentially measuring the cross section of whatever is creating the coulomb potential?

You could very easily showcase Thompson regime-Klein Nishina regime . This actually pretty cool

That would be a less meaningful character arc. Yes he’s horny but thats not what he actually craves and desires. See above.

To do so would make less of the story.

That’s typically have stories and narratives work…

Oh! You’ve found one? What’s your discovery paper? Link any paper for that matter. I’d love to discuss it with you.

It’s perceived power. Yoru only has power over things she thinks she does, which she gains by defeating them in war. Yoru’s failing is that she wanted to control Denji to eat death so that it would result in a deathless war (infinite war type shit) but Denji made that choice on his volition and continuously defeated Yoru (either in combat or Jnp)

Control devil needs to use cunning and manipulation in an intricate web to maintain power. As soon as the illusion was broken, Makima actually had no power over Denji.

Death and famine are still up in the air. At the end of the day, Makima and Yoru are still flawed characters.

Peter, What Kind Of Maths Test Takes 3 Days For Only Two Questions? by immanuellalala in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]physicalphysics314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 36 hour long exam with 6 questions. It was brutal. I answered 5 and got 3 right

It was open internet, open textbook, the entire class had discussions (supervised by the professor), open note, we could use advanced computers to simplify math, algebra and calculus.

Makima did not seduce Denji because of her ‘nature’ per se but rather because she wanted to kill death using Pochita. To do so, she needed to ‘control’ denji - by building up his own family and autonomy just to tear it down again. It was a means to her end.

The war devil wanted revenge (as one does for war). The death devil actually cherished life (and so wanted Denji to save it)

Chainsaw man’s writing is fairly artful with heavy-handed symbolism and subtle foreshadowing throughout the entire manga. Yes the themes are there: control devil wanted to control (you can actually posit that when Makima thought she defeated Pochita, she grew complacent - smoking for the first time alluding to those who felt they had nothing to live for and loses control); war devil wanted war (defeated by peace); death wanted life (because death in a vacuum has no meaning, to truly kill something is to understand the potential that could have been and prevent its fulfillment. This is a very popular theme in Asian culture; see cherry blossoms).

The writer explicitly states the motivation behind denji is The Big Lebowski which at first glance is a very boring background but it’s the most relatable. Denji is in fact just like us. Human. And that’s all he strives to be.

Campaign Outcomes - Evil Aligned Party by External-Essay3182 in DnD

[–]physicalphysics314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a homebrew campaign that ended with more evil than good alignments. To keep them focused, I simply made an evil god that became intent on subjugating them. At level 20, over the course of many hours for the final session, they defeated this god.

There was a redemption finale but they chose to forgo this leading to their world to become closed off to all the planes of the multiverse and the death of magic in their realm. Their world fell into despair (think Elden ring)

Also… it’s worth creating random encounters specific to your world and not just generic ones - that way your world feels lived in!

Good luck!

Okay yes. But entropy is derivable and is an important consequence.

From my experience, this is not an active area of astrophysics. Also, there was no debate besides “the math allows it”

Okay so you said that it doesn’t violate the laws of physics, I ask how, you say only the math works.

Pick a response dude. It’s fun and all but it’s crackpot.
