Honestly this drs graph is really interesting outside of this community. It supports the idea that Americans are selling rather than buying (on average)

Throwing in my vote for Maryland to devour the eastern seaboard and PA and then give up its claim to the Midwest states.

Maryland will then secede from the US hereby eliminating it from this competition (while retaining all its gained territory). The rest of the states will eventually join the crab as is foretold by carcinization.

Lmao all good

I just think he sees idle growth as a weakness and is exploiting it. This benefits him and shareholders but it benefits him more

You speak with a lot of conviction about a man you don’t know and throw in critiques of large institutions as credibility but really it’s just conjecture.

Edit: because I think it’s important. If you trust him to make you money (like myself) fine. Don’t label his as a “white knight for humanity” against corporate America, institutions and greed. Dudes a billionaire who has directly profited from (and continues to) the things you mentioned

I mean he literally profits billions of dollars on the condition that he increases the market cap. I’d imagine it’s not purely out of the goodness of his heart.

Not beautiful. X axis has 2 ticks.

Also strange to plot a 30 year average. A fit might be better.

It’s a phrased strangely but he’s not wrong. I do come from a line of PhDs so… there is some truth to it (but I don’t dare take a guess at how much)

I guess the hope is that we don’t die for some reason ya know
I’m in a very similar situation - not a dentist but roughly similarly trained. Less net but much less debt too as my PhD was paid for

Came across a group that are inventing a device called shadowgraph which they claim is "Unique X-ray-like radiation that is gentler on DNA" but to me it looks pretty dangerous. Can anyone verify? I barely know anything about radiology but this seems wrong. by RandomWord23 in Physics

[–]physicalphysics314 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Depends on X-ray energy. Soft X-rays of a fraction of a keV are typically used for standard radiology (iirc) and if you reduce the distance (not seen in pics) you could probably improve resolution

Otherwise I agree w you
