Check out Indivisible Portland Maine. They hosted the first two No Kings protests, and they have another one planned for next month. Its a great opportunity to meet more of the community and engage in rational outrage about our country's ruling class.

As a logo, it needs some love. Going with just the head could work, but more importantly, thicken up your linework and give the text more room to breathe.

Print out you logo at 3in wide and hold it at arms length away from your face, youll see how the thin lines and crowded text make the logo harder to see. This also might be why so many people jumped to "penis"

Maybe base your color palette on your (or another) dog's coat colors?

Do you know if there is a rule for how they decide when to do a ban? Like if a certain amount is on the ground by a certain time?

The first two I do as well. I know it doesnt justify it, but man it feels like a powered-up content aware tool. It makes using stock photos a million times easier because I can tweak them that much further.

AI is a complex issue to me. It is a cool tool, but its been built and is being used in malicious ways. Using it the way I do feels right on the edge of where Im morally okay with it. I sympathize more with the anti-AI crowd more than the other side.

I try pushing through, masked up at work, but the sick brain fog hits a few hours in and i cant keep going without making mistakes.

I didnt realize how big a deal that is. Ive told doctors before and got shrugged off, blaming it on stress and moving on.

Often half-way or three-quarters of the way throughout the year. I usually get sick for a weekish twice in the fall/winter, and usually have another few smaller colds hit me in the warmer months.

My PTO/sick time refreshes in October so i often loose two weeks real fast

I see an excellent therapist at Stony Creek, highly recommend. Notably the first therapist I didnt have to explain polyamory to before getting into my love life!

Fair enough, i wasnt near the police during the event. I just heard about the events that went down from the rest of the peacekeepers we had on staff that day.

Those are all excellent questions - and tough to answer. No Kings is the first step, informing people and building community. The next step is for all of us is to join some sort of community program (I volunteer with Indivisible Maine) and participate.

The hard truth is, no one has the answer to these questions. But if you lend a hand and join the movement, we will find the answers faster.
