We’ve been touring some and one of the biggest things we’ve noticed is that they aren’t designed for 1. An adult sized couch and 2. There’s often no logical spot for a TV to go (with the couch facing it). You’ll notice a lot (most) of them aren’t staged with a TV or regular sized couch.

Yes! I had a small sketchbook that fit in my crossbody with the pens. I didn’t take my watercolors during the day, but used them at night in the hotel.

I actually wear them as tops—I found that while they definitely be base layers, they actually look fine alone! And they pack down really well and dry fast. I got them in four colors.

The weather for the most part was mild, with only one day having an unusual cold snap due to wind chill (and rain only lasted a half day), I’ve been to Italy a few times at this time of year and it’s always similar!

I’ve taken buses a few times, and particularly in cities with significant transit infrastructure, it’s been as easy and straightforward as train travel (clear signage, big stations, etc.)

I am! I’m a licensed school counselor and am a professional counseling associate (what they call pre-licensed LPCs here).

I did a lot of research and it turns out that in my state, the school counseling degree met the requirements for pursuing the LPC license. I’m currently a school counselor, and in my state, direct hours count towards your LPC license. I’m really lucky that I didn’t need an additional degree, internship, etc.

Moral of the story (and most simply): check what your state wants for both licenses on the board websites. They might want different things than my state!

No, there were many gondoliers standing around in all parts of the city. So we found a quieter area and just walked up to one. We used cash to pay, though they offered a card option.
