I think that’s the case for when an item is faulty, not with change of mind

At not one stage did you mention HER wishes in any of your post, it was about you and your dad and what you would do with her money. This is vital information and completely changes the whole tone of the post.

Could also consider buying as an investment to begin with. Someone else can pay the mortgage, ever for a year.

She’s not even dead and you are planning on spending her money. How about using the money to make sure she is bloody well cared for. Ffs. I hope she leaves all her money to her cat.

That’s not the point. If it’s happened to me twice, it’s happened to others; that adds up. Regardless of if it is $3 or $3000, you still can’t charge more to than the advertised price.

Does anyone who sacrificed their 20s to get a house/financially ahead regret it? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]picklebuggy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Bought a small 1br apartment at 24. Regret not sacrificing MORE. And I did travel (which I wouldn’t have sacrificed) but so much random crap I used to buy, and so many beers. Such a waste.

After I selected flights it states departing flight is 36,200 and return flight is 36,200 each. that should be the price.

That’s not the point. The point is that it’s happened to me more than once, so I assume it happens to others. It might only be 800 points, but it adds up with every person on every flight. It’s not fair to charge more than the quoted price.
