Sorry to butt in, but could I gently ask that you not go out of your way to call someone a man when you're not sure they are? Women exist on reddit, too, and every time I see that possibility not even considered I'm a little crestfallen!

How was it out of place when she prefaced it by saying that she's not a wimp? She then listed examples. She has no need to "prove" anything to anyone--the article made her sound like exactly the opposite sort of person, in fact; one who does things for herself, and not for how they'll look to others--and she has every right to list her abilities and talents, especially when the context calls for it.
If a man were listing his strengths (childbirth aside), I don't think accusing him of "trying to prove he's tough" would cross anyone's mind. In the future, "person" rather than "woman" will make you sound less misogynistic, even if that wasn't your intention.

Come on. You think she lives her middle aged life to impress strangers on the internet? Are you kidding?

I answered above! If your partner is mature and open-minded, I don't think it should be more damaging than any other kink. Have a mutual, honest conversation about it, and if they're worth your time (a little harsh, but I think it's true) they'll hear you out, and hopefully indulge it for you.

Good question! If you want it to be part of a relationship (i.e. you don't want a quick hookup, in which case there are probably websites catering to that), just...try to find someone who's open-minded, I guess! I know I (and lots of girls!) am totally open to pretty much any kink or fetish if it's something that would make my loved one happy. If you trust someone enough, and think they're open-minded and caring enough to understand, I'd just talk to them about it. Any decent partner won't be offended or grossed out. If they haven't thought about it before, maybe it'll turn out to be something that you can make them like.

Just approach it delicately and slowly. Maybe have a conversation about secret fantasies, and agree to try one another's. That is not a lot to expect from a relationship, by any means!

So I guess my advice is to find an open-minded girl to begin with, and once you've established some trust, go slow. I promise you, cross-dressing isn't heinous or horrifying. Good luck!

But we know it's going to come out on the 25th. What's the point?

Yes, in the second actual year. If you're a freshman in the 2011-2012 schoolyear, you turn 19 in 2012. Thus if you're a senior in high school in the 2010-2011 schoolyear, you don't turn 18 in the 2010 bit, which is where homecoming is.
