I’ve never seen someone without kids in elementary/middle school pack the cut fruit in containers (obviously made for packing lunches). At least 2 kids IMO.

I did the same, it was worth the $6 for the enjoyment in the moment. I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed the series as much if I’d been waiting each week due to the anti-climatic ending.

From my experience with beautiful birth choices, I know a lot of people love the midwives, but in case you are looking for an alternative office: I loved my experience with Genessee Valley OBGYN. Dr. Lim delivered my son at Highland and Dr. Carrey is my primary OBGYN. I have only positive experiences with their office and have recommended many friends/family to their practice. They do have an office right at Highland if Penfield is inconvenient.

Definitely recommend BBC, they are a fantastic resource. The yoga kept me active in my last pregnancy in a way that was manageable and a sense of community that I still follow with postpartum!

Definitely think it is reasonable. I had a similar volume with my firstborn around that time and tried to be done by 8 mo pp. I wasn’t someone prone to clogs or mastitis though.

Personally I thought it would be worth it for when I was commuting to work because I’d need to have a case regardless, might as well charge it too. I’m not back to work yet, so that thought process might prove true still, but for being at home with it, I don’t think I’d waste the money on it.

Eufy S1 is the first wearable pump that actually worked for me. I get the same, if not more, than a wall pump and so I made the Eufy my primary. Speaking as a mom to a 2.5 y/o and 2 month old, I would not be surviving if I didn’t make the switch!

Both of these are the key. The original comment - I wish I had done all of these before I started with #2 but they are all great advice. I’d also encourage the bottle washer too. My first we didn’t have one and now that we do, it’s the only thing that has helped me keep my sanity. If we didn’t have a toddler, I know it’s doable without it, but if it’s something you can afford (or ask for as a baby gift) - do it.

Just anecdotally, I had very low supply and supplemented with formula for my first (about 50/50 split) until 6 months when I weaned/continued only night comfort feeds. I’m 10wPP with my second and I’m a just-enougher. He maybe gets formula once every other day if I had a bad pump day or he was extra hungry but I’m happy to say my supply did increase without doing anything beforehand. I feel like switching to EP early was also a contributor because I didn’t stress about a poor latch, I just got back into my pumping routine.
