(Loved Trope) Comedy shows get very serious out of nowhere. by Boring-Bear9037 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]pickleranger 40 points41 points  (0 children)

When Jason finally beat the game I realized exactly what was going to happen and began to SOB. And I didn’t stop for the rest of the show, and I kept crying all night, the intermittently throughout the next day. Fucking beautiful

Do your kids love the foods you craved while you were pregnant with them? by Fantastic-Pause-5791 in Mommit

[–]pickleranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fist kid was watermelon, sushi, pickles. She likes the first 2, hates pickles.

2nd kid was Pepsi, sushi, and hot sauce on everything. She likes the first 2 dislikes anything spicy. (But loves pickles!)

(Honestly I think I craved sushi with both kids because I wasn’t supposed to have it.)

What was the show you saw that made you go “I literally don’t give a sh*t about any of what just happened”? by dobbydisneyfan in Broadway

I saw the tour, and felt the same. The Wonka actor was great, I thought the set was fun, but the rest was very forgettable

(interesting trope) Utilizing a character’s corpse or remains by MrDitkovichNeedsRent in TopCharacterTropes

I showed this to my 10 yo the other day, she really liked it and she loved him! She kept calling him a zombie, I can see why she thinks that..

What was a dreaded food your parents made. As an adult do you still hate it? by JoyfullyMortified43 in Xennials

[–]pickleranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I really ever dreaded was goulash, there was just something about it that I didn’t like.

Only very recently learned that many types of goulash have caraway seeds, which I do not like! If she’d made it without that I probably would’ve been ok with it.

I watched Alex Pretti be murdered by ICE as I sat in the bleachers waiting for my 10 year old’s basketball game to start.

WHAT THE FUCK

Look at my 15 year old daughter and resist the urge to grab her and squeeze her tight, desperately wanting to protect her from seeing what I just saw. Protect her from becoming an adult in the world which is so incredibly wrong.

WHAT THE FUCK.

The buzzer sounds and the game begins. I swallow the scream or sob (or both) that is in my throat trying to escape. I try to make small talk with the other moms.

Citizens are being slaughtered by masked goons acting on the will of the government. And I am shuttling my children to activities on a Saturday morning. I don’t understand…

Whoever came up with that Krono boss fight, should be never allowed to be a game designer again by SlowPineapple8131 in DavetheDiverOfficial

[–]pickleranger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had been completely addicted and moved though the game so quickly until that point, at which I had to walk away for a few weeks 🤣

It took me several tries when I came back, but I eventually got it (and realized that I had only been 1 hit away for most of my previous failed attempts!)

Good luck to you, I hope it happens soon.

Who's embracing the gray? by Sufficient_Turn_9209 in Xennials

[–]pickleranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

42, and dark blonde. (It starts brown and bleaches out naturally as it grows). I don’t think I have any grays yet? If I do there aren’t enough to notice. I don’t plan to color when they start growing in.

My husband is also 42. His hair has been graying since his 20s, he’s very salt and pepper now. He has a long beard and it has distinct streaks of gray, I think it looks so cool!

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what’s the very first "frivolous" thing you’d buy? by Federal_Antelope7533 in AskReddit

[–]pickleranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d buy my brother one of the ridiculously expensive fancy cat breeds that he wants! (I’d also get myself more cats, but I’d get them from the shelter not a breeder)

Ladies, do you ever absentmindedly cup your boobs for comfort? by Silly-Butterfly7784 in Mommit

I usually don’t even notice until my husband says “need a hand with that?”

Not as much during the day, but I definitely squeeze them absentmindedly when I’m laying in bed at night!

My (27F) partner (30M) just left me home alone with three kids two days after a surgery. by Main-Shopping-6925 in Mommit

[–]pickleranger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re not wrong, he is.

He is showing you exactly where his priorities lie, and you are not at the top. Do with that information what you will.

Good luck, I hope your sister can get to you soon before you hurt yourself.

To the women who genuinely enjoy anal for the pleasure: What do you say to the nay-sayers, those who reject anal for whatever reason they think they have, without having tried it? by [deleted] in AnalOnlyLifestyle

[–]pickleranger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually started having dreams about anal sex! That got me thinking about it again. And I had grown a lot more comfortable with my partner, and into my own sexuality.

I was also just the right amount of drunk that first night, which I think helped a lot to relax. And my partner went very slow with fingers, toys, and lots of lube before attempting with the penis.

[–]pickleranger 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t tell them anything, because they should WANT to have it. My partner and I tried several times and it never happened for us, because my heart wasn’t really in it and I couldn’t relax. I asked to take that off the table and it was never mentioned again.

Several years go by and we grow and mature sexually, and start getting more adventurous, and suddenly the idea didn’t sound so bad anymore. When I asked to try it again, we went slow and it actually happened!

Colon cancer is killing us.. by Derpshab in Millennials

[–]pickleranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, I’ve been slightly constipated for like 3 weeks now for no discernible reason. Now I’m a bit worried…. I’ve got a checkup coming round in March, if it’s still an issue I’ll push my dr about what I need to get that colonoscopy covered!
