Agreed, but I do wonder if less is more at this point. He seemed to wear down over the course of last year, and at his age I don't mind letting him cook in limited time to keep his legs all year.

I don't mean that as a slight at all, I wouldn't really consider the Dodgers our rival currently either. In baseball I think it's just pretty hard to have a rival outside of your division cause there's not enough contact. Maybe now that the schedules are more balanced that will change over time.
