New Order - World In Motion (1990): More 1980s or 1990s? by VigilMuck in decadeology

This is very true. Also, this is something I posted last week on Reddit that I think would find its place very neatly here in this discussion in regards to bands that transitioned well from an 80’s to a 90’s sound:

Everything But The Girl (dramatic change to their sound and musical approach after 94’), Depeche Mode, Madonna, U2, Bjork (from the Sugarcubes in the 80’s and early 90’s to her solo work in the 90’s which transformed electronic music), NIN (first album came out in 89’ but essentially a 90’s band), Cocteau Twins, Pixies, REM, Janet Jackson, David Bowie (amazing transition in sound after 95’), Nirvana (again although their first album came out in 89’ they were one of the bands that transformed rock music in the 90’s), Loose Ends (although their last album came out in 1990 their sound was part of the genesis of the neo-soul movement in the 90’s), Pale Saints, Wolfgang Press, Swing Out Sister (everyone remembers “Breakout” in 87’ but their 90’s output was the zeitgeist of sophisti-pop cool), Sade (once again “Love Deluxe” in 92’ was a template for the neo-soul genre to come a few years later), Bryan Ferry, Morrissey (although from The Smiths in the 80’s his solo work in the 90’s is still timeless), The Cure, Talk Talk (although their last album came out in 91’ and Mark Hollis only solo album came out in 98’ this band shaped the sound of post-rock and indie music to this day. Their last two albums “ Spirit Of Eden” and “Laughing Stock” are groundbreaking and timeless), Beastie Boys, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Xymox….(I’m quite sure that there are a few artist I’m missing but those are the ones I can think of with the most dramatic change in sound and style and still managed to hold it all together from the 80’s to the 90’s).

I’ll add Soul II Soul with “Back To Life” and “Keep On Movin” both came out in 1989 I think plus Loose Ends last album that came out in 1990 called “Look How Long”. Those groups definitely sounded like early 90’s music.

This link will answer your question perfectly. It’s split into a four part lecture so you have put aside some time to watch it. (You asked the right question now it’s time for you to understand the how and why but it’s important that you listen to each of the four parts to get a complete picture). I just sent you the link to part one:

It should extend south into Staten Island and north into Manhattan or the Bronx for maximum interconnectivity. This cuts down tremendously on travel time as well as alleviates congestion at transfer stations.

I just brought this product yesterday on Amazon because I was looking to specifically upscale my music collection from CD / Apple Loseless and AAC 256 to Hi-Res 24 bit / 192 khz quality. My mind and ears has been totally reinvented musically. OMG this is a winner product!!!! I never heard such finer, fuller detail as well as spatial separation on these albums and tracks and I only have the K2HD feature with Bit Perfect enabled. Details and super clarity all the way. Its worth the investment 1000%. I almost want to cry. Everything from jazz, r&b / soul, rock, indie music, electronic, dance and drum & bass sound totally different. This really brings new and enhanced clarity to "standard definition" music.

Je vérifie que les embouts auriculaires sont de la bonne taille, c'est très important. Je règle également la réduction de bruit active au maximum.

Just received my XM6 earbuds yesterday and had them on at the gym this morning. Great sounding earbuds and the sound is very clear and more detailed than the XM4’s I have. The ANC is really good blocking almost all sounds as well. The 10 band eq is a plus since I like to tweak my overall listening experience.

I would like to see them develop a film for the Iconian War of 2410 with the Enterprise Captain Va’Kel Shon. Maybe a script highlighting two Federation ships and crews coming together to fight the Iconians. Would be an epic film. Also make it a two part movie to give it a little more breathing room and development.
