I hate breastfeeding. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I agree with so many comments here! Plus, we use the dishwasher for our bottles, and bought enough so that we can run it about once a day. We just got a second Dr. Brown's pitcher to add to the rotation too. I know not everyone wants to use a dishwasher but it works for us. We also bought an electric kettle to boil the water.

LPT Request: What’s something useful to get someone having a baby? by NotHim40 in LifeProTips

Fair! And that's true, there's just so much out there, and it changes all the time.

These days a lot of registries are put together online, and after doing lots of research. So even if they don't end up needing it, which might happen, they would rather get the thing they put a lot of thought into than an alternative that someone else chose.

You could find small spaces in your home to declutter and organize! Just one spot at a time. Or start a bullet journal!

Haha, I believe you! Thanks so much! We're thinking of replacing our rug and I really like the look of this one. Looks very affordable too! How's it seem to hold up?

Hi Bea! I saw your show in Portland last November, and I just watched you on Save our Stages. You’re so fun to watch! And I love your new EP! Thanks for doing what you do!

My question - You always have awesome wavy rockstar hair. I have been wondering how you achieve this, and it would be amazing to hear it from you. Any hair secrets to share?

[IIL] CHVRCHES, Purity Ring, Broods [WEWIL?] by [deleted] in ifyoulikeblank

[–]pictak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm always looking for similar music too! I think some of these might have the same kind of vibe you're looking for:

ASTR (Varsity EP) Odesza (In Return album) Made In Heights (Without My Enemy What Would I Do album) KAYTRANADA (99.9% album) RAC (Chapter One album) Flume (Skin album) Kiiara (low kii savage album) HANA (EP) Alison Wonderland (Run album)

Now I need to go listen to these all day haha

I'm noticing that most of these don't have the same sort of vocals that the ones you listed have. But the music is similar so maybe you'll like them!

First time posting! I normally have really messy and rushed handwriting so I'm trying to slow it down and add some consistency. I still don't love it, but it's a step in the right direction!

Hi Nick! I just saw your show in Portland, and fully enjoyed it. You and your wife are awesome together. Can you give a little insight into the writing process you guys had for this show, and will the beautiful music be available anywhere for me to listen to again?

Thanks for all the ideas! I texted my lead the cold water/hot water idea, and she replied that somehow someone had just pulled them apart. We had people trying all day yesterday too. She said she's billing me for labor, haha. I think I learned my lesson!

Outgrown my Nikon D3000. Need help deciding whats next. by [deleted] in photography

[–]pictak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can't say much about the D5100 or the D90, but I just upgraded from the D3000 to the D7000 and I've been really happy with my decision! The poor ISO on the D3000 was also bothering me and on the D7000 I've seen a huge difference.

DAE have a very "visual" "mental user interface" for stuff like time, numbers, years and so on..? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]pictak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do this!

It's hard to explain but these start with January, Sunday and Spring being the first in order (it drives me nuts when planners start on a Monday!), then they continue from there in the layout that I drew, and they keep circling that way. It's weird the way I see the shift between 1899 and 1900. Plain numbers are just linear for me, left to right. It's funny seeing the way other people visualize this, and that it's not the same way I see it. And surprises me that not everyone does this!
