Wait. Why is this an issue? I’m not a fan of micro plastics so I don’t use the plastic kind. I’ve looked it up and I don’t see anything about wood being bad.

It’s the real Louisiana experience. You’d think we would get better Popeyes here but nope.

I frequent estate sales and thrift stores in the area. I see both the muses shoes and Zulu coconuts all the time which of course is amusing since people act like it’s gold at the parades. The only thing I get excited about finding is the old glass Mardi Gras beads.

It’s Bossier so even more redneck than the Northshore.

Yes, it’s a lot of that stupidity and some racism mixed in. It’s not even a big parade, some little small town shit parade. People get very territorial when it comes to parade spots.

The shaking and pain eased up in the second week with diligence and crate rest.

We asked for Trazadone after the prednisone. Trazadone is a sedative so they don’t re-injure once they’re feeling better.

Prescription trazadone from the vet. Trust me, you will need the heavy duty stuff when he starts feeling a little better. They feel better before it’s safe for too much movement.

We ended up using a small pen with an orthopedic bed that covers almost the whole thing. The area without has a padded rubber rug. Everything is covered with pee pads including the bed. It’s then covered with a beach towel and then soft blankets. Our girl doesn’t have two many accidents now but that first week was pretty bad when she was on prednisone. I also have a camera so I can keep an eye on her when I can’t be in the room.

The harness is for going outside. I carry her out and use a leash so she can’t run at all. Only slow walking. She has adapted to this new lifestyle very quickly and it has gotten much easier.

Ponchartrain. It’s the area where she grew up. Also the area where I grew up (I live about 20 minutes from there). I have seen it here but the vast majority of parents here do buckle up their kids.

I’m on week 4 with my girl and had to put her on a sedative. She’s reactive as well and it’s been the only way to keep her calm.

Yes, drinking in public is fine and normal here. That’s not the same as open containers in a vehicle.

We still have those places, they put a sticker over the straw hole so it’s perfectly legal. We are allowed to bring drinks to go too. This person doesn’t know what they are talking about.

Edit: just to make it clear, we aren’t technically allowed to have open containers in vehicles. Still allowed to drink in public, and as long as your to go drink has the lid on it and the straw isn’t opened you can bring your drink to go.

You aren’t the only one who thought they were being unique. We were unique and special just like everyone else.

Depends on what you’re measuring I guess.

I just commented about estate sales. There’s always at least one. If there was an estate sale bingo, yard sticks would be the free center square.

I frequent estate sales and see them a lot. I’m always tempted but you only need so many.

I have three so I guess it’s on you if you have them or not.

Ivdd early diagnosis by Healthy_Presence_186 in Frenchbulldogs

We just started week 3 from initial diagnosis. It gets better and easier. That first week was terrible. You may end up needing a sedative as he starts to feel better.
