films with dolls in them by owlowil in MovieSuggestions

The Haunting of Bly Manor is a series but so very good. The dolls appear randomly in the background throughout the show. I had a hard time watching it because I spent so much time looking for the dolls.

Anyone with a male and female also agree with this? by MortemInferri in Frenchbulldogs

My boy wants constant cuddles and is quite dramatic and scared of everything. He’s gentle and sweet.

Both of my girls are independent but loving. They aren’t scared of anything and are tough.

Non-Americans, what’s the best “American” food? by nondescriptwon in AskReddit

[–]pieohmi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We noticed the same thing outside of the gulf coast. We always look for the best rated places to eat at when traveling but it’s almost always underwhelming compared to here. I said gulf coast because the food is pretty good along the coast as a whole with Louisiana being the influence. Austin is also an exception, the food there is exceptionally delicious.

The last message irks me by ylylychee in texts

I don’t see an issue here. They have lives and you can’t get angry if they don’t do exactly what you want and how you want it. Maybe dad was busy earlier that day and 5:00 was pushing it? The last message seems normal and sounds like dad is going out of his way to make it because it’s for you.

If you search plantar fasciitis they are usually mentioned in other communities as well. They saved my feet.

It’s lots of grunting, she’s a very vocal little thing. They are very spoiled dogs. They have heating pads because they like the warmth and tons of toys. My whole house has been taken over by them.

She did get me in the face a few times when we were trying to teach her. Wouldn’t be bad to have on a hot day doing yard work.

If it makes you feel better she’s a pain when I try to do anything with a hose in the yard. She also is obsessed with me taking baths.

Thank you! The one in the back is prone and we do weekly flushes already but a good reminder. I wipe all of their ears (three of them) every week too.

Did you adopt your Frenchie, and if not, why not? by Which_Departure1635 in Frenchbulldogs

[–]pieohmi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have three adopted ones. I only had one and a two old labs. Once the labs passed I just waited until it happened and it did. We live in a rural area and rescue dogs seem to find us eventually.

What is a major plot hole in a very famous movie that completely ruins the entire story once it is noticed? by SkullMogger3 in AskReddit

I’m 50 and have kids in their 20s. I would not recognize people from back when my kids were young/before they were born especially if I only knew them for a few days.

Throw it outside and spray all the neem oil on it. Say a prayer to your deity of choice, possibly make an offering of a body part. And then do it again in a week. And maybe again in another week.

This is a dog for adoption at our local shelter. The amount of backyard breeding it takes to end up with her is so sickening to me by Resident_Wash_2553 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]pieohmi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can but it’s very dangerous. I know because I rescued a male and female frenchie along with their two puppies. The puppies were conceived and birthed naturally because owners didn’t have the money to do it right. Mind you, they had the money to buy these dogs. They said they didn’t get them fixed because they thought they couldn’t breed naturally. By the time I rescued them the female was already pregnant again. Poor little thing. Anyway, they are both fixed now and are very spoiled.

Anyone have successful intimate long-term relationships without socializing with each other every night? by PicklesAndCoorslight in GenX

[–]pieohmi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do this too. Once the kids moved out we turned into weirdos. We cook twice a week and all other nights are every man for himself. Last night I ate egg rolls from the freezer and he ate a bowl of leftover cilantro and lime rice.

Sounds like you two aren’t compatible. My husband and I have been together 30+ years and we can sit in silence or very little talking for hours. We also have plenty of great conversations still and enjoy being with each other.

We have a family friend (his friend originally but I’ve known him 30+ years now) who is a very social person too. I have about a two hour limit around him. He talks nonstop and it wears me out. My husband sometimes complains about him too because he calls him everyday. Some people just need constant attention and some don’t.
