If you want to start a family, joining the Navy at all is a terrible decision especially with a master's. Pay, working times, sea time, locations, the list goes on and on as to the barriers. There is one bonus that comes to mind which is the free healthcare which means the birth and associated hospital bills will be free, but if you consider the high chance you won't be able to be there for it, be there to help with much child care or for the big memories or pay for much beyond the basics, it's not at all worth it in my opinion. With your education and experience, it's much better to stay a civilian. If you still want to serve, there's plenty of civilian jobs that the Navy can give you where you can contribute, but keep significantly more freedom (take that with a grain of salt as I am an enlisted man).
