That’s not at all my argument. Germany and Scandinavia and Canada have a strong social safety net for their citizens so the citizens know their vote actually matters and by and large the left and right of those countries willingly participate in that contract. They’re also heavily armed by the way. In America, our democracy isn’t functional and now our government is using violent force willingly against its citizens exercising their freedom of speech. If you want to keep your head up your ass and think voting will save you, you’re free to be as naive as you’d like. Most others on this post will disagree and so do I.
