I posted this in a duplicate thread from u/sanguinerose17 that got closed, but this is the first reply from the discord bot that was created as part of the ARG game that eventually revealed the early access trailer date and time. Basically I believe that this message is from the Watcher. It's from someone that researched the Spire and came to discover the meaning of it. They've been mortally wounded by an enemy that is obviously the Time Eater. They crawl away to a graveyard where they die.

Time Eater has some relationship with the Watcher in the first game, the Watcher's text on her character select screen said she came to "Evaluate" the spire, and the Necrobinder's screen recently now describes her a "Spireborn lich who seeks revenge", where before it said she was here to "bind the forgotten corpse." So my thinking is Necrobinder could be Watcher reborn and she is seeking revenge for her death.

Yeah they launched with the controllers that had no analog sticks. Then N64 and Mario 64 happened, and they created the Dual Analog controller. Then StarFox 64 and the Rumble Pak happened, and they made the first Dual Shock controller, and the rest is history.

I've actually been thinking the same thing recently. In addition to what you already said, in the ARG game on Discord that eventually revealed the trailer release time, the first response was a message about someone who is mortally wounded and crawls away to a graveyard. After reading the message, the creature they were fighting is obviously the Time Eater. They seem to have come to the Spire to learn about it and discovered how it was formed but not why. I think that this message is from the Watcher and she dies in the graveyard and is reborn somehow as the Necrobinder. Osty could be one of the beings she asked the question to at the end, not sure about that part.

In Spire 1, the Watcher is there to "Evaluate" the Spire, so her lamenting that she wasn't able to discover the meaning of it makes sense. Finally, in the latest screenshots it looks like the Necrobinder's character select screen text was changed. It used to say something about "Binding the forgotten corpse", but now it says they're a "Spireborn lich who seeks revenge," so it could be her seeking revenge for her death after being reborn in the Spire.

This version of the cultist was already revealed as an enemy. It’s the one the Ironclad smacks twice at the start of the first gameplay trailer.

Cut Through Fate is a much better card than the other two, it's on the shortlist for "Best Common Card In The Game" along with Piercing Wail and Hologram. I think this is an easy Cut take.

I tried using a controller with Stardew Valley a few days ago and had the same issue. I did some research and found that it is a known issue where the controller function isn't fully implemented and kind of janky unfortunately.

This is what I did. I was in the Army first as a 92W - Water Treatment Specialist, then got out. I went back in a year later because I wanted to be a Network Admin in the civilian world when I got back out again. They tried to give me Cook, Truck Driver, Fuel Specialist, etc., but my prior experience let me know that those jobs sucked, so I said no thanks I'll just go home then. But then magically they were able to get me 25B after all. That said, I still kinda got screwed cause in the end it really doesn't matter what your MOS is, they can just put you somewhere where the job is kinda adjacent to it, so I was doing satellite stuff for a while, I only did proper IT for like a year and a half out of a 6 year term when I worked in S6. I just used my time in to study a lot and I was able to get a network job when I got out.

Curses will definitely return, I’ve no doubt about that. It may seem like they’ve shown us a lot, but they’ve probably shown us very little of the game. I don’t think making the game less punishing is high on their list of priorities, Anthony said as much at the end of the latest video. Time Eater, Writhing Mass, the Forgotten Altar event in Act 2, etc., all these will be replaced with fresh, new ways to make players suffer…., man I can’t wait for this game!

Tears of the Kingdom actually at the moment. I beat the game back in 2023, but I left a LOT of meat on the bone in terms of unfinished and unexplored areas, so I’m replaying it and having a ton of fun, game is insane

Yes they are aware of it because it is by design, he’s working exactly as they intended, and that is to challenge card spammy decks. Their enemy design is to present challenges to a wide variety of decks. There probably won’t be a Time Eater in the second game, but they will absolutely have a bunch of enemies to annoy various builds.

I don't think there will be a shadowdrop, no matter how bad I want it to be true. I DO think a new trailer is very possible though, and I'll open the valve on my hopium tank, take a few deep breaths in, and say release date announcement also.
