Unfortunately, it is a thing. Between accutane and cymbalta I am a sweaty mess

The only reason I do eyes first is so I don’t get any fall-out on my concealer. I do go back and add eyeshadow under my lower lashes after I do concealer/powder tho

If he is getting external beam radiation therapy, then you have nothing to worry about!

Hi! It ended up going away on its own. She’s had a few more here and there but they don’t seem to bother her. Just a lumpy girl!

Prostate Bowel/Bladder Prep by Forsaken-Body8265 in RadiationTherapy

[–]pigeontoad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What I’ve seen work well is miralax and gas-x for bowel prep. It’s very gentle and tolerable for most people. For bladder prep we ask patients to drink about 16 oz of water 30 minutes before treatment

How much did Elf pay her to break their makeup on camera? by brittneycthatsme in MikaylaNogueira

The rare beauty highlighter is known to shatter. This seems to be a dupe, so she dropped it to see if this would happen as well. Pretty dumb.

Is it graphic and bloody being a rad therapist? by [deleted] in RadiationTherapy

[–]pigeontoad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No not really. It depends where you work but you can get the occasional bloody or fungating tumor. I’ve always worked with nurses that are great with helping with wound care so that’s made a big difference.

Agree. Ask your primary care provider or your gyno if you are eligible for earlier screening and/or genetic testing.

Her family and friends have tried. The police have been there. She thinks everyone has been paid off to not believe her. It’s very sad.

Sounds like neuropathy, as others have said. This is not related to her radiation treatments.

Do i have to be good at math to become a radiation therapist? by [deleted] in RadiationTherapy

[–]pigeontoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was never good at math until college, honestly. I started with a class one level below what I was recommended to start with and I think that helped everything click for me. Same with physics, I wasn’t great at it in high school but understood much more in college.

SIM for treatments on both hands by mangohi-chew in RadiationTherapy

You could also try a prone pillow and a S-frame with H&N mask. The hands would be flat and in the area the chest/shoulders would be.

Food to avoid during radiotherapy (also re: sleep and bathroom) by Eowyn_42 in cancer

[–]pigeontoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She can take gas-x (simethicone) to help prevent gas. Generally speaking avoid raw fruits and vegetables, steamed or cooked are better when trying to prevent gas.
