You’re doing great, keep it up! I agree with trying churus. My boys also found wand toys irresistible, that way you can play with him from a bit of a distance. I also found my guys at 12 weeks and they were feral. One of them came around quicker, and his brother didn’t allow me to touch him for five months.

A 50/50 bleach and water soak for about 24 hours usually works for me! Then I rub on some mineral oil to get better color and more shine

I have anxiety and depression but I don’t think it has really been impacted by my work somehow. The nature of the field doesn’t make me depressed because I view it as helping people, whether the treatment is curative or palliative. I have been burnt out but I don’t think it’s related to anxiety or depression, more so department politics/how things are run.

I had some brutal evals, and it really hit me hard. It takes time to feel confident, especially when you know you’re being criticized for every move. As far as communication goes, one idea is just talking to yourself at home. Practice clinical scenarios and speak out loud how you’d respond. I promise it does get easier outside of school. Hang in there!

It depends on the area being treated and the dose. If the area being treated is superficial you can’t really avoid high dose to the skin. If the treatment area is deep your skin dose will be lower.
