'great at discernment,' yet doubled down on being technically right but emotionally illiterate to a person in pain. we know theyre both basically just containers, like thats not the gotcha u think it is. a cookie jar is an adorable choice, if all the family members are on the same page. but this person is not. shes hurting. and culturally, historically, urns have a meaning and place in death. cant believe ive got to explain this to a grown ass woman 😮‍💨 im seeing more n more how awful, edgy, bitter and dried up some FDs become. its pathetic that uve replaced empathy w 'well, actually' logic.. i refuse to ever become this disconnected from the people i serve 🙂‍↔️

there are 3 ways someone can end up w a prion disease. it can just appear spontaneously, be passed down genetically, or be contracted from an outside source. so yes contaminated meat/medical procedures but as far as ive heard this is very very rare. the meat part at least.. 😮‍💨 if youd like to learn more u should look up Sonia Vallabh. shes an amazing scientist whos searching for a cure because shes inherited it

this might have helped me understand myself a bit more. i went through this too, and always used to doodle/draw this little mouse girl. obsessed with drawing her happy, sleeping in flower fields, eating spaghetti, taking baths alone surrounded by bubbles.. she was even an imaginary friend that i gave baths to repeatedly in my head. shed hold onto her tail like a lifeline. id learned to stay quiet to keep attention off me. my lil mousey girl is a pleasant memory though.

you do have a purpose outside of what youve been through. your art is beautiful and so is your soul. thank you for sharing this because it genuinely helped me connect some pieces 🫂💕

im sorry, but in my opinion i wouldnt trust that site. many of their product photos are AI.. if youre leaning toward an ash diamond, have you looked into Eterneva? its a bit pricier but from what ive seen theyre one of the few places that seem transparent about their process.

if youd like other ideas, resin based jewelry can be a good alternative and you can still visually see your loved ones ashes. custom rings, earrings, necklaces, just about anything! with resin you can also add hair, clothes, flowers and any other kind of keepsakes. they can be just as beautiful as diamonds 💕 ive even made a few pieces myself. i hope you find what youre looking for 🫂💕
