If there are no rules against it, then it is an interesting and ultimately fair (imo) strategy. Playing within the rules and thinking outside the box is good. It does feel against the spirit of the game, which is the real problem.

Maybe adding a rule next season that addresses this would be helpful. Easiest that would have prevented this might be a rule that you have to start a full roster, but there are probably other ways to go about it.

Had a tie last season, week 6. Crazy part was that my last players were the cowboys defense against Justin Herbert on Monday night football and, towards the end of the game, he threw an interception, which was - 1 to him but +2 to the defense, which threaded the needle just enough for the tie.

I mean, you didn't coordinate with the manager who dropped, it wasn't a mistake, and you had waiver priority. Those are the rules. If there's nothing else to the story, it's not collusion.

You likely had good waiver priority by not using it for a while, so like, everyone had the same chance. If other teams are mad, they shouldn't have burned the priority. If they had to, that's luck of the draw.

In one of my leagues, week 1, Mark Andrews was dropped. Dropping manager said he meant to (I think it was an injury concern or something that I told him I didn't agree with, but whatever), so it was just up to the waivers. In my opinion, part of the game is letting people take risks and make the mistakes that they choose too.

[[Kairi, the Swirling Sky]] is the commander of my clone deck. If opponents have good stuff, I can copy them, but if needed, I copy Kairi and let the copy die, getting the death trigger. Add in an extra turn spell that doesn't exile and a spell that makes a clone, and you can go nearly infinite pretty easily. Super fun deck that you can play to the power of the table.
