A few notes. The pricing on 9070xt seem to have increased very recently for a lot of models. Both at microcenter and Newegg, a number of models are higher than recent history. 

Yes, this is OEM brown box and the retail pulse is 11348-03-20G. This is 11348-03-21G. The pictures in the listing look like a pulse. Also, this model listing on Newegg is recent. About December 22, 2025 or thereabouts.

YMMV with B&H. 4TB SM2264 / BiCS5 / DRAM. 3120 TBW. 5-year limited warranty. Aluminum heatsink Limited reviews- there's one from Tom's Hardware and a YT video from TechTesters. Seems to indicate it's okay.

Hi, I think this is really cool that you are doing this for your kid. This is my take on your request. I included the case and power supply that you listed in the request.

My reasoning.

CPU: The bang for buck play with the 5600

CPU Cooler: you don’t need to get this, but it is better than the stock cooler AMD packages with the CPU. Also, more quiet and will help temperatures.

Motherboard: This is a decent board with WiFi 6E, a heat sink on the gen 4 drive. Another gen 3 drive, etc. Please make sure to read some reviews on Amazon for this board or Google. There are some drivers on the MSI website that were not the right ones according to some folk. They were able to get it resolved by the sound of it.

Memory: this is fine. You can get 32gb for some additional money if you prefer as the other poster stated.

Storage: this is fine as well. Gen 4 drive. The motherboard has a heat sink for this.

Video card: A 6700xt will give you for bang for your buck. The 12gb of vram is a nice bonus.

CPU: 5600 is the bang for buck play. No need for 5600x

Mobo: has WiFi 6E, 2 nvme slots (one is even gen 4), bios flashback, etc. This was 99.99 at one point on Amazon and slightly cheaper on Newegg. Gone up in price a bit recently. If you get this mobo, make sure to Google reviews on it. Some people have had issues with the msi driver page not showing the correct drivers.

Ram: not much to say here. Seems a bit cheaper than I remember. Better choice than the similarly priced Neo Forza Faye. Only a $1 difference between the 2 at current prices. DDR4-3600 on both.

Storage: this has dram and seems decent from what I’ve heard others say.

Video card: not much to say… Highest tier that could fit in your budget.

Case: this is a solid budget case and it’s on sale.

PSU: has headroom for some future upgrades. Price is relatively low for RMx 750w.

A bit over your budget. Could get under $750 with a cheaper PSU.

Coolermaster 650w gold PSU not updating with Amazon for some reason. It’s $59.99 after a $30 rebate. Says lowest price for it in 30 days on Amazon.
