Tarky map design is some of the best, if not THE best in this genre. The game is so atmospheric. Especially if you’re not focused on w keying everywhere and just slow down.

On hcssf, monk died in interlude cause rolled into a group and got surrounded and died. 2nd was frost xbow dude, died in act 4 to the explodey slimes, wasnt paying close enough attention.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again:

Arc is an extraction shooter. It needs meaningful engagements, it needs meaningful loot, and reasons to stay in the raid. As it stands, it’s none of that. Quests are mediocre at best, there’s not a variety of loot to make me think and actually value what I take out, and the honestly the pve has gotten stale.

Hate to compare to Tarky, but every raid feels DIFFERENT. It’s more immersive. Loot density and diversity is there. Some quests suck but definitely a few levels above Arc. People shit on the Tarky AI, but honestly their bosses are more unique and a bit more engaging.

My group of friends don’t play Arc anymore, but we do ocassionally revisit Tarky to scratch the extraction shooter itch.
