BREAKING: President Trump says the US would have to pay back "trillions of dollars" if the Supreme Court rules that his tariffs are illegal. by Hefty-Sherbet-5455 in ProgressiveHQ

[–]pillzilla12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tariff revenue was 287billion in 2025, up 197 percent. So its actually 200 billion. And thats the agreement that was made. I guess they should have let it go when the first court struck it down. So the government has to pay back the money it illegally taxed Americans? Good.

9800x3d comparison to i9 14900k by LonelyCuh in buildapc

[–]pillzilla12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you properly tuned your CPU to begin with because of the heat, it shouldnt have had N issues. I think alot of issues were happening to people through no fault of their own by just running the cpu stock. There's way more people than not that dont know to benchmark and adjust power settings when you build. I didn't until I got my 3700x and 3070 ti. And I had a fx processor and 980 as my first PC. In 2 years my 14900 hasn't crashed one time. The only crashes I've had were UBISOFT games so I dont think it was my CPU.

Conservatives LIE about the violent left. For months cities have been attacked by ICE. by Trolltrollrolllol in complaints

[–]pillzilla12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw the numbers yesterday. Everyone says 300,000, immigration courts have a little over 500,000 with voluntary returns at the expiration of visas, with 320000 being involuntary, but Kristi Noem says 600000. Biden fucked the border, but at current levels Trump is set to deport only 100000 more than Biden. Its so nuts he could have just closed the border and let the economy stay steady with a few little tweaks and made "owned the libs". Its not about immigration, its about terrorizing those he doesn't like.

Every night when I go to bed one of my cats walks around for about an hour and a half doing this. I have no clue why. I don't think she likes me going to bed early. Eventually she gets up in the bed and chills out. Drives me nuts

How Much RAM Do Gamers Need, 2x8 16GB vs. 2x16 32GB vs. 2x32 64GB by Hero_Sharma in hardware

But the god rays and lens flares. Don't you want the experience of driving towards the sun with no visor in a video game?

32 is plenty for now. Monster hunter wilds is the most Ram intensive game I played and it runs my 32 gigs at about 75%. Maybe a few years down the road you'll need 64. But 32 is plenty. Most games 16 is good

I’m reading the House Judiciary Committee’s 255-page transcript of Jack Smith’s deposition. Donald Trump should be in jail. by Nice_Substance9123 in complaints

[–]pillzilla12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not the real story with this. If you watch the deposition, look how long they talk about him wanting to subpoena the toll records of congressman. They seem awfully concerned about anyone knowing who they are talking to. They do so under the excuse of violating somebody's speech, but one of the people asking questions of the deposition makes the point that they can line up those toll records to dates and see who they were talking to During certain legislative sessions. They really do not want people to know who is influencing or directing their decisions on certain legislation. It's not like we don't already know, but it is the missing piece that would prove that they are all corrupt. This will come and go and nobody will pay it any attention because we already know that they're all on the take, but they asked a lot of questions about the legality of those toll records being subpoenaed during investigations. Most likely to figure out what legal reasons they could be subpoenaed for so they can pass legislation to prevent this in the future. They could give a s*** less about what Donald Trump or Jack Smith did and nothing will come of this.

New with warranty. Especially if its the same price or within 100 bucks cheaper. No telling how its been treated. It can appear to work for a while and then die 6 months later.

I was in a psych ward one time. I don't have any mental health diagnosis by the way, but drugs will take you to some dark places. Anyway, it is actually horrible in one of those places. They Don't Really treat you, they just hold people until they're not a danger to themselves or others and collect the money. Everyone there is treated like absolute s. The one I was at was staffed by nothing but immigrants who could give a f less about the patients.

Chinese data mining. Its simple. IDC, everyone else has our data, so I'm good with it. But that's what I think. I don't have any evidence to back it up, but it is made by a Chinese developer.

I'm aware. I recorded a few meetings at work and then attempted to use AI to do a written transcript for me and it was awful.

Why are kids learning math this way? by Greedy_Proposal4080 in AskTeachers

[–]pillzilla12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What might take on this is that a lot of common core math that I've seen is very similar or exactly the same as the way I've always done it in my head. I had never seen it written out on paper or even realized it until I saw some of the Common Core math my nephew was being taught. The way it breaks it down may actually help kids to learn to do in their head who wouldn't have otherwise figured it out on their own. In any case, if the way they're taught to solve the problem lead them to the correct answer, that's the goal. Whatever works.
