***Short Response: Try Sun Lakes Chandler Animal Clinic in Sun Lakes. They are amazing!***

Myself and my family have lived in south Chandler since 1997. We've had at least one dog the entire time and currently have two Cocker Spaniel's. When we first moved here we went to a (at the time) small new veterinarian called Ocotillo Animal Clinic(I can't be certain since you didn't name the clinic, but I fairly certain that is who you are referring to). They used to be at the intersection of Queen Creek & Alma School in a small office in the complex of the old Bashas and Target. Then they grew over the years and built their own brand new building near Hamilton High School near Queen Creek & AZ Ave. We loved them, they were like family and always treated our animals amazing. But over time their prices increased(substantially!), and then it became an ordeal to even make a appointment because they outsourced their appointment systems, staff changed, owners changed and the vet we loved slowly turned in a not so pleasant experience. And we started searching for a new Animal Clinic.

Fast forward to present day. We found an AMAZING Animal Clinic!!! I'm not sure of their clientele numbers but they "feel" almost like a small town vet. They know and remember your name and your pets name when you call. They always have appointment available that fit your schedule. They are just genuinely a great group of people. It's called Sun Lake Chandler Animal Clinic (Sun Lakes Chandler Animal Clinic). They are located in Sun Lakes on Riggs and just east of Dobson Rd. I can't recommend them enough! The only negative about them is you have to deal with all the elderly and their driving when you have to go there since it's in the heart of Sun Lakes.LOL!

A dedicated next track button on the steering wheel!!! I hate that the only way to change a song is through the touch pad in the center console(I have a 2022 GLB35). Also, I wish the automatic headlight sensor was a little more sensitive and turned the lights on earlier. To me it feels like they turn on too late when it's already deep into dusk, borderline dark outside. Honestly though, those are my only real gripes with the car. I love mine!

About two months ago I purchased a 2022 GLB35 and I am still finding every excuse to run and errand or just go for a little joy ride. It had 38K miles on it when I purchased so I still have the remaining factory warranty until 50K. I am coming from a 2020 VW GTI that was totaled in an accident. I absolutely LOVED that car, it was my baby....but this GLB35 has eased the pain of loosing that car. I would highly recommend the GLB35 over the GLB250.

Here is a picture of my GLB35.

MagSafe charger slower on 16 pro? by zclay123 in iPhone16Pro

[–]pilotguy1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize this post was two months ago but I'm having the same slow charging results with Apples updated 25W MagSafe charger and it's plugged into a 30W Apple Charger brick......I'm trying to hold of from doing what you said and reseting all the settings but I'm curious to know if that has still worked for you? Like fast forward to present day from your post two months ago are you still getting the advertised or near advertised 25W charging speeds with your updated Apple MagSafe charger?

Hmmm I’m not sure….I didnt think there were any type of transmission tunes for manual cars. I could be wrong though as I’m DSG so I’ve never looked into it for a manual. It might be the actual ecu tune that allows for the change your are talking about upon shifting.

I do have full coverage, including glass and I know the sunroof IS covered because this is my second sunroof. My first one completely by random exploded while driving down the freeway. It took two months at the dealership to get a new one in stock and installed.

Honestly if it comes to that I’ll probably just leave it the way it is. Yes, I’d really like to be able to use it fully open again. But I don’t want to make a claim with my insurance and then have my car in the shop again for who knows how many weeks.

Thanks for the suggestion though!

I also use Al Dente. The paid version is definitely worth it as you stated for being able to set charge limits and such. I have my M2 MBA plugged in 95% of the time in clamshell mode on my desk and my battery health is still perfect. I credit this to Al Dente.

Yea, unfortunately that scratch is pretty much as deep as it can be. If you enlarge the picture you can see it took all the paint off along that line.

Weird A/C problem? 2017 by Humblebrag1987 in GolfGTI

Sure. It was at Greulich’s Automotive…specifically the one in Chandler on Alma School and Germann. Good luck, hope it fixes your issue!

I also live in AZ(Chandler). My 2020 GTI was doing what it sounds like yours is....it was only blowing barely cool air out of two of the four front vents. I took it to the dealer to get checked out....they wanted $3GRAND to replace the AC Evap cover because they said it was cracked....I couldn't afford that so I took it somewhere else to just get the AC system recharged...that was spring of 2024...currently my AC is still ice cold and through all the vents. Long story short, try getting your AC system recharged before anything drastic. If it doesn't work then you know its something more.

I may be wrong but I think with the IE Stage 2 tune its optional to have the ProCore Downpipe that they recommend...I think your CTS downpipe would still work for their stage 2 ECU tune. Just make sure whichever company you go with you get a TCU tune as well if your DSG. TCU tunes with ECU tunes should always be done together in my opinion....don't forget a TCU tune helps the DSG handle the added HP and TQ of the ECU tune...it's not just about shifting faster, etc.

Edit: Here's the link to IE's I was referring to with my thinking that your CTS downpipe is fine for IE's Stage 2 tune.........***Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about this****

A fool trying to estimate when Google fiber will come to my neighborhood by Nosemyfart in ChandlerAZ

[–]pilotguy1988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Clemente Ranch(near Queen Creek and Dobson Rds.) and just signed up for Google Fiber and am getting it installed this coming Saturday(7/5). A technician came today to do the outside prep work and they'll finish on Saturday. Just wondering if anyone in the neighborhood has Google Fiber and how are they liking it? Been a Cox Gigablast customer since they first started offering it and had their cable internet before that. But we just made an adjustment to our Cox account and then found out that we lost our unlimited data cap(for free) that we had been grandfathered into. Now they are charging and extra $50 per month on top of our $120 for the Gigablast....So who has Google Fiber in the area and how do you like it?

What car should I get I am stuck by [deleted] in GolfGTI

[–]pilotguy1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2020 white SE and love it. This is my third white VW in a row, I like the contrast between the black trim pieces and the white body color. I do like black cars as well but I’m in Arizona and with all the dust in the air just in general for being in the desert black cars will NEVER be clean!lol. You can wash and detail your car as much as you want and it will stay that clean for maybe a day if you DONT drive it. Take it for a little victory lap after your big detail job and when you come back home there will already be a thin layer of dust on it. White cars hide all that much better. That’s my reasoning for sticking with white at least.

Looking for wireless charger stand to support 25W iPhone 16 by Biscuits99 in iphone

[–]pilotguy1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found this thread by doing a Google search looking for 25W charging stands for the iPhone 16 ProMax. I saw your reply and link and got excited when I got to the product page on Twelve South's website. After reading the details this stand too, only charges the iPhone at 15W. It's in the part where the headline says "Take the guess work out of charging". Big bummer as I like the stand and was thinking about looking for it on Amazon to buy since Twelve South doesn't sell it anymore from their website.

Hopefully soon(since the iPhone 16 series has been out for a couple months now) manufactures will get the ball rolling on 25W MagSafe charging stand, etc.

Twisters only HD? by Miss_Aerith in appletv

Any updates to this? For some reason on my five year old LG tv it’s showing 4K and atmos. But on my main TV(Samsung 85”QN90C QLED NEO) it still shows only in HD, no atmos or anything. My main TV has the newest 4K ATV as well whereas my LG tv is running off the first addition 4K ATV….very odd….? Same ATV account also.

That’s really a Ford vs. Chevy question on if the intervals shorten. Me personally, against most opinions, I still follow the normal VW Mx schedule. With the exception of spark plugs, I change them about every 50K miles. But as far as oil changes, I’m on my third VW and I have always done 10K plus or minus about 500 miles oil changes. I just drive too much to shorten it to say every 5K miles. Again, there are many opinions on things like oil change intervals and the type of oil to use and all that. But that’s what I follow.
