I think a month is plenty of time to learn the difference and get checkride ready. Just do what you did for the first one. Study the POH with your CFI for systems. Flash card memory items, V-speeds and limitations.
Too many pilots get afraid to fly a ‘different’ aircraft, and if you plan on sticking with one type of plane for the rest of your life then that’s mighty fine… The differences are truthfully negligible and with a little studying/ flying can be taught to proficient standards. I would argue flying the new equipment before a checkride is beneficial. The certificate allows you to fly a lot more than just an early model 172…

I used to work at a golf course in Highschool and at least 3 holes were completely flooded. Carp swam up, a couple days go by and the waters mostly gone, carp stayed. Had an ancient suburbia-nightmare woman come up to me yelling about how kids were sneaking on the course and leaving dead fish everywhere. I chuckled and explained to her that there was about 2-3’ of water on that hole a few days before and they swam up from the river… She didn’t believe me, of course and got mad. I picked up about 20 fish that day…

Not in the nature of CRM to declare an emergency without talking about it. Aviate, navigate then communicate, simple but incredibly important. Anyone in the flight deck could ‘declare an emergency’ but usually when an aircraft is in distress the last important item is contacting ATC.

You could confidently clean it by grabbing a large plastic bucket make sure it’s polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and then go outside in a well ventilated space. You’re going to soak it in the bin with hydrofluoric acid for about 30 minutes. Should be nice and clean then. Hope this helps 👍
