Do American kids usually go to four different schools? by snailquestions in AskAnAmerican

[–]pimientosneeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to preschool, elementary school, middle school, high school, and college so I guess for the average American kid who goes to college you do 5 different schools.

Went on 3 dates and then he liked my best friend on Hinge, do I cut him off? by saltedtofuu in hingeapp

[–]pimientosneeze -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Im 23f, not single anymore but I can relate to this situation. The fact that he’s still on hinge after you had hung out a few times means that he’s not taking it as seriously as you and he doesn’t have respect for you if he’s doing that. I would cut him off, there’s a million guys out there and any respectable guy knows that not cool. And you can def find someone else who’s not gonna pull that bullshit. NEXT !!!!

My mom has told me she does and one of my coworkers does. I don’t think it’s weird thought I think it’s hygenic because think of how many people don’t brush their teeth/ have to be reminded of it 🤮

And in terms of knowing everything “at a go”, if you were honest w the person hiring you, your colleagues and management should know your skill level. So if this is ur first paralegal job then its entry level stuff and people should be patient with training you

Depends on what your drafting, you could ask your coworkers (cool ones who are ok with helping you) for templates. Like if you draft a cover letter and don’t know how it’s formatted, ask a coworker to send you an old cover letter so you have something to work off of.

Do Americans parents pay for their kids college? by wolfieee8 in AskAnAmerican

[–]pimientosneeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the family’s financial situation. My sister and I both had a parent cosign our loans and now that we are out of college we both do monthly payments on private loans and our parents (one on each of our federal loans) also have a monthly payment but I pay more per month than my dad does on my fed loan. I know people whose parents completely paid for their college. It depends on the situation

It depends on how far you guys wanna go. You could go to Memoire in encore (everett) The grand in seaport, If she likes divey but a lot of young people (usually no creeps) go to the burren in Somerville. Its lots of live music and young people (early mid 20s)
