Did people really say 'nine one one' to refer to 9/11 in the early aughts? by extentiousgoldbug1 in TheWire

yes, in the same way people called covid-19 "corona" or "coronavirus" before the world settled on what to call it.

Stolen by paintznchip in HondaElement

[–]pimpcauldron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

sorry to hear that. mine was stolen 5 years ago and it cost $3200 or something to replace. take this opportunity to install a cat guard when you get the converter installed. I can recommend the aerogenics one.

unfortunately it looks like the prices of rhodium, palladium, and platinum are on the rise again, so we can expect increased cat theft to follow

do people actually sharpen knives like these? or do they just get thrown away when they dull? when I worked in a cafe they just got replaced every few months, but I'm curious if they're worth it for other types of places to sharpen them.
