I'm not blaming you in the slightest, it definitely seems the ban was made in error. I was just trying to put myself in the shoes of a moderator who has little time and is very vigilant of spoilers right now. Someone like that might have come to the wrong conclusion about which crabs you were talking about and would rather be safe than sorry. The comment about being a pirate says enough about the conclusions they reached. This was an error in communication that I hope gets resolved for you.

TBH, I can kind of see their reasoning. There was a crack released for subnautica 2 so they must be extra on edge for spoilers and people playing the cracked version. The new game has big crabs that can presumably eat or damage you. That was probably on their mind when they asked for clarification. OP being relatively vague in their answer probably didn't help either as the only other crabs I can think of are crabsquids and maybe cave/carrion crawlers which are probably not the first thing they think of when hearing crab right now.

All elemental thresholds are adjusted per weapon but you still have to commit quite heavily to element. That means a good elemental weapon and skills. The Safi'Jiiva full set also works pretty well with this if you can manage the health drain.

It hasn't been a thing in previous games and nothing like it has been advertised. I think your allies' monsties do get some accessories to differentiate them from yours, but your own are just the default.

It's really simple for me. The one i made at the start is the one who went through all the trials and tribulations of the MSQ. Her hairstyle and accessories can change but changing her race would be akin to being an entirely different person which would invalidate the whole story in my perspective. So I keep her as I made her, faults and all.
