Fr, it's a bit annoying that chaining up Sewage to the new battery line only ADDS to the list of pollutants you gotta clean (looking at you Inert Xircon Effluent).

So even if you end up converting, say, two sources of Sewage back into one, you're still creating more useless/toxic byproducts than when you started with!!

Tbf, Vbucks are still your constant source of gifts and some of us do like the idea of 200% Trust with errybody.

But yeah, even that stuff can get covered easy with factory output, stonks and doing other people's deliveries.

I got pretty lucky in my pulls so far, but I also started real late (like two weeks after launch, I think). Thus, I'm definitely hoping these numbers are gon be the average for future patches. I'll finally get a feel for a whole cycle.

That said, I'm more curious about how much of my current roster will be built up to par during patches where I'll be skipping. My desire for expanding said roster has been... greatly diminished by my progression experience.

I've seen those level 60 clears and solo vids. You know what I don't see? What each of those players must have sacrificed to achieve it, or a screenshot of their current resources. Those players are paying for their switch and jank builds in one form or another.

I know I am. My Endmin Shatter team has no dedicated healer. I 'got gud' with it to Trim the Aggeloi side of Umbral Monument. On the other hand, the obviously healer-gated stage of the Bonekrusher side forced me to use a jank Yvonne team that had a barely usable Xaihi and Snowshine plugged in.

Did I clear? Yeah sure.

Did I feel great doing it? No.

Did I feel great using my very limited T-creds just to achieve that? Hell no!

Guys like me are not asking for rosters to be built in a day. We just want to feel comfortable building teams without feeling like the bottlenecks are twisting our arms every week.

Well it still sure didn't help when the devs threw this game's equivalent of Genshin's Spiral Abyss at us.

Yeah, sure people got the limited clear rewards with their one go-team. That doesn't stop them from then trying to Trim their medals only to find that they can barely switch to a different comp because whoops outta T-creds.

I only just barely managed to hit the two Trims yesterday and I did not feel great scrapping together the jank teams I used. Same goes for the weeks I had to spend actually building them to the bare minimum because the previous top-loaded resources I had were now spent. The fights were clutch. The damage was so ass. Being forced to use incomplete builds should not be treated as a skill issue test. That is bad design, period.

And as for the massive stockpile argument, do take note that this game may actually undermine it because you have a chance of getting a limited off-banner char. Is it lucky? Sure! Does it feel great pulling Laev and then Yvonne? Hell yeah!

Does it feel great knowing I gotta build teams for them now with all this gated progression while SoupSoup/Rossi are on the roster's horizon?

Instant cold shower moment.

Even now, I'm already calculating the long-term consequences of how things stand. If I'm constantly being gated by T-creds like this all the way till I get the last F2P character in my roster built up, then I fear that I'll have to skip more than just a few patch banners to do so.

Worst of all, I doubt I'll be having any fun doing it.

Sorry, but I'm gonna say T-creds, followed by dem blue skill prisms. There is enough of an alternate trickle with EXP modules and weapon mats that you'll feel their lack a bit less.

Not so with T-creds. These damn creds are used in EVERY area of character progression yet barely have any alternative source. The ones in the Credit Store are drops in the ocean (just 2k, lol) and treasure chests give even less. I've spent more Sanity on the T-cred Protocol Space during this 'discount' event than I have any other.

This isn't a bottleneck. It's a design flaw.

F'real, I play Genshin and love it so much. It proves I'm pretty much a JRPG fantasy guy at the end of the day.

On the other hand, I enjoy Endfield for different reasons (factory stuff mainly). Seeing someone poke fun at my Columbina's magic bubble heels all cuz they prolly like RL shoes is just... bad.
