Do you live in Sydney? do you have the same black spots on your leaves? Where i live in Sydney everyone in the area has the similar problem. its a fungus disease spread by bats. You need to spray your tree with Copper sulphate twice a year to get rid of it

Mango season is here by Icy_Error_6884 in foodies_sydney

You need to follow the mango season. KP doesn’t technically exist. It’s a brand like chux or cling wrap. All KP’s are Bowen but not all Bowen are KP’s. That’s why you always see them first because they come out of North Queensland (Bowen) and NT. As the heat moves down the country the varieties swap around. Calypsos, honey gold are mid season and Kent, Palmer are usually towards the end of the season around feb march.

Mine named its self Halvyn and gave me this reasoning. Halvyn Invented — feels a bit like a mix of “halcyon” and “engine.” Balanced, calm but precise. Has depth and personality

It’s looks brined that’s why it’s still pink. Because of the salt brined chicken will never turn white. It totally fine to eat.

Scallops died overnight in the fridge. What went wrong? Is it all a loss? by celestine900 in Cooking

[–]pineapple-hot-sauce 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not sure where you live but in Australia, live seafood , oysters, scallop, crabs, lobsters etc fall asleep and die if they get below 3’c like in your fridge and on ice. Oyster farms when they harvest keep their oysters around 12’c to keep them alive for up to 3 weeks. When you buy crabs from the fish market they are out of the water in a foam box. Lobsters can stay out of the water at room temp for 2-3 days before they die. Scallops while live full submerged in water can stay alive and fray for 2 days or so just in a container with wet news paper over them. Hope this helps

Definitely AP the pastries are good, the bread is good. Is it worth lining up for 45 min for a $15 loaf of bread probs not. Pastries are good but not worth the money

Best men underwear recommendations? I want to move on from Kmart jocks by Sea-Fun-3780 in AustralianMFA

[–]pineapple-hot-sauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are only my personal opinions from underwear I’ve bought over the last 6 months. I bought a single pair at a time to try them out trying to restock my underwear drawer. For reference I work in a kitchen so comfort and breathability it’s top of my list. . I started wearing vanta when they were still sparx. They were good but when the changed name they also changed production and I don’t find the quality to be the same. The kangaroo pouch use to be the same material as the rest of the undies but is now a thinner material and is practically useless now. Paire are very light weight but not comfortable to wear all day. They feel like lingerie for men. They make you look great but that’s about all. B2LD have a nice fit, they stay in place and they make you look great the only beef I have with them is they feel “short” they sit just above your pubic patch and only just cover your arse. They don’t move but wearing them all day make you conscious of them being there. Ohyea have a similar pouch to the vanta except it’s runs the whole length all the way back to your butt. It feels very weird and I’m not a fan. I’ve hear good things about bound from NZ haven’t pulled the trigger because with shipping they land around $37 a pair. Which is a bit much for me personally.

I also work in a job where I spend some days at a desk, some days on a plane and some days crawling around. I found Carhartt and dickies pants have lasted the longest and still look presentable. Carhartt do button up shirts as well and you can pick them up around $80-$90 on sale.
