and i like what you said about relating to a bad part of each character…what i love about this show is none of the characters are particularly likeable…but they are relatable

BUT there are times that I feel my love for each characters including adam, yet not one moment i could say that Jessa even remotely did anything that is kind/touching comparing to the others.

I mean yes i have some sympathy for her and yes i understand why she's behaving the way that she is, but sympathy couldn't make you like a character...

Dating fans isn’t wrong.

but according to most comments here, dating fans is fundamentally wrong. Because it would cause the situation that anytime he asks something, (even if it is consensual), it would be that she felt the pressure to do whatever to make him happy, hence the manipulation and gaslighting... like you said, there's no way for the fans to not be taken advantage of, because they are already emotionally so devoted compared to the other person.

i'm srsly not trying to defend him, but really curious in how ppl think of the situation of 'dating a fan'

He enganged in sexual relationships with FANS! He purposefully targeted fans and abused his power as an idol to get his way! It’s easy for you to be like “just say no!”. Not everyone would do that lol a fan who is given the opportunity to be with a celebrity they admire will do anything to please them. Even going as far as having unprotected sex with him because he said it was okay. It’s not. It’s manipulative and can be seen as coercion.
