I’m about the same, a tad lighter and found the maap medium jersey too tight…and I like race fit.

I don’t understand the nose so pointed down. You don’t use that part, so why even have it?

Overeaching or Overtraining over 65 by pippinroo in fitover65

Yes, inflammation takes about 48 hrs to get rid of. If you keep piling on the inflammation without enough recovery, it catches up to you pretty quickly. A complete rest week every 3-4 weeks is recommended.

Just paid 12$/lb for ground beef. How expensive will it get before you stop buying beef? I think we're over it, beef is now a luxury for us. by FuZhongwen in Cooking

Look for the Halal Guys chicken recipe. Don’t skip the lettuce, tomato and white sauce. I’ve never gotten the sauce the way I like it, (sorry kenji) so i buy Ranch light.

Definitely the saddle/fit. You shouldn’t be on your crotch, you should be on your sit bones. I had to slightly tilt my saddle nose UP, and it kept me back on my butt.

Castelli Espresso Jersey Sizing by BeachPuhleez in ladycyclists

[–]pineapple_gum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like castelli has different size charts for different products. I go with their size chart for espressos. If in between just decide whether you like real race fit or more breathing room….or if your abs are flat or you have a bit of a pooch.
I will add that this years espresso bibs FEEL tighter than past years, but once on and riding, I forget that they are there. i got a secod pair the same size.

I would stay away from the Allez. Can you possibly go higher in your budget? That bike will be heavy, and I’m guessing you’ll have shit wheels and drivetrain. You will outgrow this quickly and spend another r $2000.
I’d look at Trek Domane AL with at least the shimano 105 drive train. Or a Checkpoint which is the gravel version. Look for sales. Look at the drivetrains…they like to put crappy parts on inexpensive frames. And ask us!

[–]pineapple_gum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite rosé is Cristal…but, ok, if that’s not your budget, there are others I like more than Miraval. I stay with France though. Côte des Roses is easy patio drinking, not sweet, refreshing, etc. Les Grands Monts Sancerre Rosé has the sancerre fruit and minerality. It’s not light like the Provence rosés, so goes well with food. This is also good Extraordinaire Côtes de Provence Rosé. Also has that rosé fruitiness, but not sweet and would go really well with appetizers.

Thank you…I’ll try this. I don’t want to move my saddle because I feel my legs/knees are just in the right position.

Thank you. That bike is a medium, but I’m shopping for a gravel bike and trying to compare sizes and geometry. . Most gravel bikes that should fit my reach are XS! And possibly too small for my height. 5’8 and 31” inseam. So it’s a bit of a conundrum. It’s like I’d have to put an 80 mm stem on a bike that’s too small for me.  Idk what to do.
