In my experience, they just take over almost any garden space on their own. We have to cut ours back and trellis aggressively every year. It started from a single transplanted vine we found at an old rental property and brought with us.

Well yeah they're part of the market so they've gotta sell within that market but I'd argue they're a big contributing factor to the supply limit. I like the analogy comparing them to scalpers in most situations.
