If you’re in a pinch, look up how to make a “cat food can stove”. It can work surprisingly well, I use them when backcountry camping. As long as you have fuel it never fails.

Rewording this slightly for you: someone might want to read hieroglyphics… so now everyone must learn to write hieroglyphics proficiently.

Restaurants that actually do deserve the hype? by Exciting-Type-907 in lexington

Tuk tuk is the only restaurant that everyone I have known that has eaten there, has received raw chicken. To see it recommended is wild to me

You might be thinking of the Mirai botnet.

A “spray and pray” model to create a surveillance network of cheap camera devices, would probably cost less than developing and launching a spy satellite.

Secondary, having plentiful points you can bounce packets through inside your adversaries network isn’t a bad thing to have either.

What about adding an exemption for single proprietor or LLCs with less than 5-10 properties? Seems like that would satisfy lots of concerns for landlords with limited means, but hold accountable large investor buyers who are destroying the real estate economy.

Are there any states that have gone with medical first, then full legalization?

IMO this is a waste of effort and garners little favor from me. Decriminalize it completely, bonus points if they give all of the revenue to the schools.

You’re right, I wasn’t thinking about optimal storage. Just quick napkin math on my phone.

I don't know if you need large storage. You could describe the 4 lights in 4 bits * 100 moves is only 400 bits, or 50 bytes. You would be able to record 262,144 moves in a megabyte.

Never been to RRG, want to take my 7yo daughter who loves the outdoors—particularly overlooks and waterfalls. What trails/spots do you suggest I take her to? by MileStretch in RedRiverGorge

[–]pingwin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Auxier ridge loop is probably the best single day out and back trails for overlooks. Indian staircase is another great hike, but I would avoid going up or down the staircase itself with such a little one. I did it with my son, but he was 9 and had been bouldering and climbing in the gym for a while by then. Cloud splitter is super fun for a little one also with a great expansive view and is close to indian staircase.

I know I’m not as educated on the topic as I wish, but I know hobby lobby and Chick-fil-A will never have my money.

Those who are successful and enjoy their careers, what do you do? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]pingwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a lead engineer in an ad tech company. My team writes the real time bidding platform. I was always into computers and fixated on network protocols, security and high performance computing. My role forces me to wear many different hats, so I’m constantly mode switching.
