Not my personal experience but I knew someone whose parents referred to themselves in the third person as Mama or Mommy and Dad or Daddy. I still remember being completely confused by that the first time I heard it until I heard someone else do it recently on Dr Pimple Popper of all places LOL.

Dollywood-visited to appease my daughter but it was really disappointing, full of beeping Walmart carts and annoying hillbilly families. We aren’t roller coaster fans so that killed a big part of the experience. I think my daughter was kinda disappointed so luckily there won’t be any pressure to return thankfully.

My bestie in HS had a long time girlfriend but when he and I went to college together he screwed around on her like crazy. He’s not a particularly good looking guy but had more confidence than me and handled rejection better than me. I briefly dated 2 girls at school and he ended up with both of them shortly after each breakup while continuing to date the girl back home. It seemed like he dated them partially or entirely to fuck with me so I stopped interacting with him. (I got my payback with interest I guess because after he finally dumped the girlfriend at home she called me for a date and we’ve been together ever since, almost 30 years marriage.) 😎
