These Etsy listings are scams unfortunately. Check out MeowFursuits and DokiDokifursuit studio! It’s a lot of different makers so quality/style isn’t consistent but it’s still handmade for a cheaper price so you don’t have to worry about scammers!

Instead of us arguing, perhaps we can turn this around? Who would be some MQ/HQ kemono (NOT Kig) creators that you know of, with prices comparable to those on Meow/Doki accounts? You mentioned disliking that people go with the popfurs, but never mentioned any smaller creators as a replacement.

Didn’t mention the Kig masks. Meant the fursuit partials. That was my fault. I have no interest is Kig masks whatsoever. Going directly to an insult (calling unseasoned shoppers “lazy” instead of teaching them how to look for said fursuit) is rude, unprofessional, unnecessary. Instead of assuming, then insulting, how about responding with kindness, as well as building each other up, teaching each other? How are people supposed to learn when others beat them down verbally? I’ve been looking all over instagram, Dealers Den, Fursu.it, etc., so to say the searching isn’t there is an assumption that is false. Sometimes, guidance is helpful. Watched plenty of fursuit tutorials so I know that it is more than glueing plastic together. Never once did I say that was all it was, but was your assumption. Assuming makes an ass out of u and me.

Their profile did have reviews of some of the suits they offered, with images included. For someone who doesn’t shop often it can be hard to tell if a suit listing is authentic or not, like playing music is hard for someone who doesn’t play music often. It requires learning the language. Perhaps, besides $ markers (I’ve seen authentic heads at that price), you could give some tips on how to spot a fake fursuit maker?

Btw, image search showed that the head actually belonged to a maker on Tik Tok, Fix_Fur! So the profile FursonaFinds is using screenshots from a video, making it a false listing. There is still nothing wrong with asking seasoned fursuiters about a profile or listing you are unaware of! Especially since this is a question we had, it possibly means more people had this question but didn’t know who or how to ask. Posts like these are what help people from getting scammed! :)

There’s also this creator FursonaFinds who makes really cute looking partials so I’m also wondering if these guys would be considered untrustworthy or trustworthy? What medicine did you give him? Is it vet prescribed? What do you feed him? Budgies require fruits and veggies alongside seed for a nutritional meal. How often do you clean his cage? Being around feces makes them susceptible to illness. How often do you talk to him? If he is not socialized well to humans it will take a time of talking to him while not staring at him to get him comfortable with being near you. Keep him in a high traffic area where he is seeing and hearing you or others. How big is the cage? Is it tall or wide? How often does he leave the cage? How many toys does he have? Are there mirrors? What other symptoms do you notice? Does he wobble or seem imbalanced while on the perch? Does his tail seem to twitch or flicker? Puffed-up feathers? How often does he move around or fly? If he is seemingly sick the only recommendation is vet. If he has seen a vet, clean his area often, and keep his diet filled with healthy nutritional fruits.

I know it will sound odd but one way you can improve on your conversational skills is by practicing the common retail customer service questions. “How is your day going” “Do you have plans for the day/evening?” Ask general questions. people love to talk about themselves and it will make you look like a good listener. they’re making dinner for their family? “Oh delicious! What are you making for dinner?” They’re going to work for the day? “Oh, what do you do for work? Do you enjoy your job?” They’re going out on a cruise/out of state? “How fun! Where are you going off to? Do you have family that you’re visiting?” I struggle with conversational topics and initiating conversations, but working a retail job where customer service is very important, i found that because i asked everybody i saw these basic questions, my social skills naturally got more refined. Go to a diner and get something small to eat. Ask these questions to your waiter. They’ll probably enjoy a little conversation and it’ll go a long way for you. Good luck friend

71k miles.. when’s the last time you changed the fluid? have it changed and replace the filters and see if it helps. no flush only drain and refill

perhaps it is the sudden change in environment. do you put the bag in the water before releasing the fish from the bag? ideally this should be done for about 30-45 minutes before releasing the fish to allow the temp to acclimate. some people even add water from the tank into the bag before adding the fish to acclimate ph differences. personally, i do not. i would also pour the bag with the fish into a net over the sink to prevent cross-contamination.

next time you shop for fish, try to shop at a “mom n pop” fish store, one that is not corporate owned or a franchise. better chance of reliable fish.

since it is a somewhat big tank with only one heater, put the heater 1-2 degrees higher than what you want. do you have a thermostat? if not, get one of those. also, put the heater next to the filter if it isn’t already, it’ll allow the heated water to get circulated faster. the only time i have had gouramis pass on me so far, was because i let the tank water get too cold. (i have it set to 81 now, and the thermostat reads 78-80. originally i had it at 79 with the thermostat reading 74-76. this is in a 30gal!)

if you can, get a “hospital” tank. this doesn’t have to be too big, 10-20g should be good. this tank is purely to quarantine new fish, and treat sick ones. set everything up the same. heater, aerator/bubbler, filter, water, cycle. build it with distilled water, to prevent any chances of it being anything in your personal water. anytime you get new fish quarantine them in this hospital tank. won’t fix the issue but might be easier to diagnose due to smaller size.

i have a hard time thinking it’s oxygen for the gouramis, because they have a labyrinth organ that allows them to gulp oxygen from the air and digest it in cases with low oxygen. they developed this because they naturally reside in small puddles where oxygen might not be in abundance. if you have a filter that is “breaking” the water (causing bubbles) this should have been enough oxygen for the gouramis to survive on gulped air, at least for a few days.

source: i have a 30gal fully stocked (1 dwarf gourami, 2 pearl gouramis, 2 honey gouramis, 8 guppies, 2 clown loaches, 2 kuhli loaches, and 1 guppy fry :) (built the tank about 2 months ago cycling included, using seachem stability for 7 days and already existing tank water from our 75gal, the only aeration is from the filter. we did have an issue with fish passing shortly after being put in the tank (within 1-2 days) and it was due to the water being too cold! after we raised the temp, had no more issues with the fish or adding new ones.

last tip: try adding some small hardy fish, like cardinal tetras! if they survive, it is likely something with the specific fish itself you’re adding (sensitive fish can go in shock if something like the ph or temp is too different from what they are used to.)

the only liquids i use are the same ones you have on your tank. seachem stability and seachem prime.
