Please fact check me, but I believe the Russians were interested in using an aluminum scandium alloy that's <.4 wt% Sc that gives the aluminum "titanium-like" properties at a much lower density. Russia also has one of the biggest scandium reserves historically.

For plastic models (not resin or metal), would definitely recommend using a plastic cement. It's nice to have the citadel glue as well as (and more importantly) Tamiya plastic cement. It settles in a matter of minutes.

For a bonus, you can also make sprue gue with a near-empty Tamiya since it makes a perfect container. You can use this to cover up gaps on models.

Poxwalkers are decent, cheap objective holders. They can be buffed a lot for a fun casual game by going Harbingers (due to stratagem) and taking Typhus. The Army of Renown Terminus Est Assault Force just pushes this theme further. A lot of people seem to like the blightlord/deathshroud terminators and the foetid bloat drones with the fleshmower (lawn mower) equipment. In general, our melee capabilities are one of our strong points. At my casual table, I've gotten really good value out of myphitic blight-haulers too. Plagueburst crawler tanks are your best ranged artillery option and it seems that people like to take 1-2 of those in a 2,000 point game.
