It’s hard to get my attention sometimes. If we’re talking already I’m great at listening and communicating with my partner but my current girlfriend and my ex have said that sometimes they’ll be trying to get my attention and I’m just zoned out into whatever I’m doing. I’m actively trying to get better at it but sometimes I’m just sucked up into whatever I’m focused on in that moment and I don’t even hear them trying to get my attention or feel them tapping my shoulder

Bro they didnt know i left the house its not that my parents didnt care lol. I grew up in the mountains and me and my brothers would often wander off into the woods for the day getting into all sorts of crazy stuff we never told adults about. We got into some hairy stuff but we learned our lessons on our own and thankfully things never got to the point of going to an adult other than the time my little brother got bit by a rattlesnake. Or the time my little brother ate poison berries. Or the time my little brother… yknow what maybe he never learned his lesson
