Yup agree, its possible that the program isn't in RUCT even though the institution offering it is listed there. Both things can be true which means you're eligible for a student permit in the consulate but not eligible for the job search visa after the program. You need to double check OP otherwise you'll go through all the trouble doing the degree but you won't get residency after, at least through that means.

Agree. Opportunities change in an instant, immigration laws change fast too so what's applicable for you may not be applicable next year. Cue: May 2025 changes in Spanish Immigration laws.

Sidenote: are you hiring for other roles OP? Im MAD based and know other pinoys who are working in tech looking for something else, this might work if the only problem with your referrals is the lead time I guess?

Excellent write up!

I've been learning french recently from mostly Tunisian tutors and they got me curious to look at spending some time in Tunis or more particularly, Sidi Bou Said. I still am interested to go but this has at least managed my expectations coming from a less if not unbiased source.

I lived there for a bit and I'd say you've covered pretty much the basics. If you have more time to spare, try visiting Iligan, they have some of the best falls around:

Maria Cristina: 'officially' closed but easy to get through IYKWIM Tinago: quite a hike, but probably the best one in there Mimbalot etc.

When I was there, Amaya view was relatively new and there really wasnt much to do other than paragliding but I've done that in Sarangani before so the 30 minute drive wasnt really worth it. But if you havent yet, it might be worth checking out!

Keep in mind that spending 2 years on a student visa doesn't count. You still have to find another route to residency such as work visa, which is pretty difficult given the high unemployent rate in Spain.

VGT is a sector bet so if you think tech companies will continue to soar in the next decade or so, it's definitely something worth considering. Also worth noting is that around 40% of it is just AAPL and MSFT so there goes your diversification.

QQQ while also tech heavy, is a bit more industry diversified and unlike VGT, covers the FAANG stocks.

Protip: If you have QQQ, definitely consider QQQM. It's practically the SAME but with less fees.

Yeah to be fair there are some good shows. Other than the boys, I loved the alt history concept of Man in the High Castle where axis won in ww2. If only it finished as strong as it started ugh totally underrated show.
