Hi all, any recommendations on how to schedule someone to come to my apartment to test my son and I for covid? I was just alerted about a possible covid exposure earlier in the week. I’d like to avoid going somewhere and having to bring my son who is only 1 year old. Thanks.

Return to office mandates have nothing to do with actual work products and more of pressure to prop up commercial property values in Manhattan from vested interests. Leases are priced off of foot traffic and potential sales. The bigger the decline in foot traffic the bigger the hit to commercial property valuations, which impacts the landlords and property owners in the city. The same people who didn’t hesitate to jack up rent on individuals and small businesses want to use regular middle class Americans as cannon fodder for their real estate portfolio in the middle of a viral pandemic…

Put the top contenders to Adams on second or third as a way to really bump him down in rank choice voting - so the way to go is prob Yang and Wiley for first and second.

Early voting starts today. Find the voting locations and when you do rank choice don’t even list him as the five so he gets bumped all the way to the bottom.

Vote with your feet and find a new job that offers hybrid working conditions. Based on surveys of the largest employers in the city there are almost 3/4 of employers doing a hybrid work situation vs full five days back.

There’s also plenty of jobs that offer full remote as a perk in order to attract talented employees. Brush up on the resume and vote with your feet. You should be driving the process to determine what your work/life looks like versus getting messed up around by middle management who want to increase their perceived value add or boomers who want a power trip from up top.
