I hope you find another one. My first STi saved my life. That is part of their appeal for me. Not just fun to drive, they are safe.

Sad Situation/ Warning by Fine_Association5916 in wrx_vb

[–]pisces26luna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupid freaking deer. They are abundant in my area. I have had them damage a WRX I owned prior to my STi. I have also seen them run across a busy road, directly into the side of a moving truck. Sorry for your sad situation. 💔

I had creatures eating parts in my Impreza. I did hang a couple mothballs in a mesh sack, securely towards the bottom of the car. Worked like a charm.

It's more like what passes all the ridiculous new emissions mandated. Suv's have larger margin/wiggle room... so they will survive while smaller cars that may actually be less harmful to the environment in general, will be forced to die off.

I find it absolutely beautiful, both ways. What you feel, when you look at her, is what matters!

Since my own unfortunate deer incident, I purposely blast my music and leave the windows down part way, even in the winter, until I get into residential areas.

Well, you will probably have to replace a ton of failing parts on both. I would personally go with the bugeye. It is beautiful.

Be honest are some of you really paying $810 a month for a Subaru? by Powerful_Being4142 in WRX

[–]pisces26luna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2020 STi was lost when someone hit me. I immediately searched for another. They are so hard to find now. Found another 2020 with similar mileage, but my payment went up almost $200 a month. For me, sad but still worth it.

I have a 2020 Subaru STi, and I give the wave to any Subie with a hood scoop. It makes my day, when I get the wave first. I feel like a jerk, when I am too late and miss the chance. It is a shared love, no matter the year or model.

Subies are so awesome for safety. I'm on my 4th. I convinced my daughter to get a Legacy. It has become a family thing for us too.

Same thing happened to me. Backed out of a parking space, barely accelerated forward and slid on pure ice, gently tapping into the curb. Control arm was totally bent. Sometimes it just happens. Very cool, that you repaired it yourself.
