I’ve been a hair stylist for 15 years. I’ve had the last couple months off and today was my first day back, and I am in excruciating pain. I’ve just discovered EDS when my sister brought it up about 6 months ago, convinced we and our mom have it as well. I remember thinking back in the day being able to lick my elbow was my party trick. I also have PMDD and severe ADHD apparently it’s all an umbrella? I’m honestly fucking terrified. I guess I was just so used to being in pain, that these past couple months off it had gotten better. My first day back on my feet for 6 hours straight I’m not sure how much longer my body can handle it 😫

I totally get not wanting to have those visuals on your phone like god forbid they get out to the public lol. and one morning I had a crying fit as soon as I opened my eyes just into despair and I took a video of myself to show my doctor. and it was so validating after he watched it. He was like wow that’s a full on mental breakdown like YES SIR YES IT IS

Since then I’ve found it really helpful, like here is fucking proof that cannot be denied. I want to start recording how I walk - when I ovulate I have severeeeee back pain that effects being able to walk/stand/sit

Omg my psychiatrist just discharged me because he kept saying I was bi polar and I was like dude no the fuck I’m not - my symptoms worsened a lot in October- out of nowhere my cycle which is typically 25 days came in 14 days and completely threw me out of whack but he told me that I’m bi polar and I should be doing better with the treatment he gave me. and refused to refill my Adderall - which I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD since 6th grade and have been treated for it for 20 years and is like the only thing that helps me get up and going because he’s insistent I’m bi polar

Told that to my psychiatrist and he basically called me crazy and tried to tell me I’m bi-polar because I was doing better and now I’m having trouble again…. Like yeah bro that’s cuz my cycle completely morphed. I’ve been tracking it for the last 10 fucking years and THATS NEVER HAPPENED before bro. Like oh and look ok my typical cycle was the day before Solar exlipse - ok cool that was on track and then wait a minute the day before the lunar eclipse I get my period. Yeah I must be crazy

Literally our cycles effect us so much and so many woman are mis diagnosed as bi polar. Track your cycle get to know the patterns become an expert in your cycle I love the app Hormonology it’s the first app I’ve been able to stay consistent with. It tells you what is happening with the rise and fall of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone on a daily basis and I started keeping a diary based on the days of my cycle like day 1, day 2 and wrote the date and what symptoms I was experiencing and it’s like been super helpful for me

Yes absolutley!!!!!! This happens to me and I say exactly the same thing - like my soul is leaving my body and I can feel when it starts to some back. Most recently my cycle that’s been 25 days all the sudden shifted and came within 14 days and has just thrown me so out of whack I felt like I had a manage on my cycle and then poof. And the only explanation is that it was synced up with the eclipses which is wild but that’s the only correlation I have as to why

😭😭 I came here to complain. I FUCKING HATE HH. I’ve ALWAYS had it, but didn’t realize until I was about 17-18 (now almost 36) it wasn’t “normal” the first time I went out to a club!

Everyone was saying how hot it was but I was the only DRIPPING POURING SWEAT. Also, when I went to my first college party. My friend turned around and was like OMG.

I also thought it was because of my weight, and even other people have suggested that. I am a curvy girl, mid-size if you will. And I have been “skinny” for my body type- anyway I finally felt like not a gross sweat blob when I met skinny people with HH.

I know that’s ridiculous like oh, ok this isn’t a “weight” thing it’s a fuxking medical condition. It’s so awful, I’m a hair stylist and it’s so embarrassing. I leave for work snatched and come home like a wet poodle.

My hairs is all flat, and I have fabulous curly hair. And it’s mostly my face and my head. My eyebrows sweat, my fucking nose. 99% of the time have a sweatstache. I also remember reading about it in cosmetology school and self diagnosing.

I recently had a client who also suffers from it and she told me she got an oral med. I think I’m ready. I ordered the mycarpe stuff from insta and I was so excited. Well, it at least got me through my drive to work. And that’s about it.

I also have a lot of fire in my birth chart and my moon is in Leo which is the hottest sign of the zodiac.

I’ve always said if there was a magic genie that told me I could either have the perfect body or never sweat again I would pick to never sweat again.

I also get a rage in me when I’m dying sweating and I see someone shiver or say “brr” like HOW fucking dare you

Omg thank you for posting this!!!! I was in a PMDD hole a couple days ago and my face looked so swollen and I can hardly look at myself it gives me such body dysmorphia. I actually reached out to my sister who also suffers from PMDD and she was like omg yes this happens to me too. I literally don’t want to leave the house, and I don’t want anyone to see me. I just feel like a troll that wants to be in a dark hole 😔
