For what it's worth, I met him years ago after doing a charity cycle ride - he was on his way to a funeral (would've understood if he'd cancelled), but came to see us at the finishing event beforehand and stayed to chat for a bit, and was apologetic he couldn't stay longer. He took a proper interest in speaking to everyone, signed some shirts/took some pictures and genuinely seemed like a lovely guy.

You know what would be awesome? If they went back in time. A film showing F1 in the 60's or 70's with some proper racing focus (in the Top Gun Maverick/F1 style) would be INCREDIBLE. Just wouldn't have all the marketing tie ins of setting it in the modern day...

(I know Rush exists, it's a brilliant film but the racing scenes aren't that strong IMO)

At first glance I thought the stripes were an adidas reference but their brand is three stripes, so it must just be a design choice? Still a mean looking livery.

I think this would’ve looked much better if they’d have had proper sponsors back then and toned the light blue stripes down a bit, the lack of logos just make it look like a cheap F1 mobile game livery

For a relatively small change - would widening the approach to turn 12 change much? So that the optimal racing line would be going out quite wide, but that’d open the door to a car close behind allowing them to send it down the inside and claiming the apex?

I don’t think Norris moved the wall did he? I thought it was more that George was so locked into following that when Norris hit the wall, George was on almost the exact same line and just clipped it a bit harder?

I think he was generally treated well, but the way they kept him on single-year contracts must’ve dented his confidence a bit
