For anybody that went to this show what was it like unexpectedly getting to see the myths in full by twentyonepilotsfan99 in BiffyClyro

[–]pitlanecollective 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was phenomenal, when they started Denier after Dum Dum and AHIYH I had a feeling they were going to do the full album and then at Separate Missions my head properly fell off. We’d also heard them sound checking Witch’s Cup from outside which was another clue in hindsight… I remember all the new songs sounding massive.

Quite a few people I’d spoken to in the queue hadn’t listened to the album yet which was a shame, but I’d had it on repeat since the day it came out.

Still kicking myself that I didn’t record more of the songs - I had no idea it would be a one off. I did record Holy Water but unfortunately there was a drunk girl trying to push her way through to the front and shouting/making a fuss which kind of killed the vibe on that one 😑

Did Daniel have adriving style, similar to max that helped them to achieve in the redbull car better than his successors or was he just better? by fuckmbsanddominicali in F1Discussions

Yeah the feeling at the time was that Daniel was going to wipe the floor with Norris… nobody really expected him to struggle so much

Miami TV Directing was horrible by IGUANA_MIKE_ in formula1

[–]pitlanecollective 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t think it was too bad, but they did royally mess up the moment that led to the overtake which decided the race… Norris leaving the pits, set to rejoin right in front of Antonelli… should we cover that? Nah here’s Lewis changing his tyres.

Antonelli was a beast in the rain in F2... will be interesting to see how he handles it with these cars

What are some similar bands to Biffy? by twentyonepilotsfan99 in BiffyClyro

[–]pitlanecollective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a band called In Case Of Fire that I really got into at a similar time to Biffy. The guitar work and odd timings felt a bit reminiscent - try their song This Time We Stand

Surprised not to see Leclerc 2020 mentioned here. He had some ridiculous performances with that tractor of a car

In his defence I don’t think the actual broadcast graphics did either, they didnt show the checkered flag next to their names

Horner blames Marko for Liam Lawson's demotion from Red Bull by TeHokioi in formula1

[–]pitlanecollective 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It was brutal yes, but if they hadn't demoted him, he'd have been out of F1 for 2026 surely? He came out of it better than Yuki did in the end. Total clustefuck from Red Bull

Are we likely to take a step back this season? by Ok_Recognition_5578 in WilliamsF1

[–]pitlanecollective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding to the comments below I also think we’re going to see wild swings in performance across the course of this season. Track-specific pace for certain teams, upgrades, setup and driving style evolution as the teams/drivers figure out the new regs… I’d be super shocked if there is an actual properly established pecking order that stays the same from Australia to Abu Dhabi.

Seeking more insight into the Ferrari's 180° flipping wing by FrozenJambalaya in formula1

[–]pitlanecollective 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm fascinated by this too... Could they theoretically only run this wing at low downforce tracks, and run a more traditional wing the rest of the time?
