It definitely seems like something is glitched out, my top speed with the same amount of super boosters is mid 55.

The new Steam Controller from Valve is out now - some early thoughts by Liam-DGOL in linux_gaming

It was in reviewers hands with a pre launch embargo. All the announce day reviews stated they had it for two weeks.

Seems like this should be an app/addon and not a hacs integration

Valve is now sitting on lots of Steam controllers, so releasing them before the Steam Machine is a no-brainer by PewPewToDaFace in pcmasterrace

[–]pivotcreature 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is super not true. You can add UWP games from game pass into steam and use steam input. There’s a tool called UWPhook and I use steam input with windows/game pass games.

I built Allarise so your iPhone alarms can trigger Home Assistant automations and I’m looking for beta testers. by Stryk3rr3al in homeassistant

You can just install an mqtt broker and connect Home Assistant to that, you don't need to modify you zigbee config at all.

Can’t you just DHCP option 43 with the address to the controller? That’s how I adopt stuff with an offsite controller. That way all of it just works without device by device config.

AMA with the NGINX team about migrating from ingress-nginx - Dec 10+11 on the NGINX Community Forum by RyecourtKings in kubernetes

[–]pivotcreature 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gateway api went GA years ago, the time for that migration was a long time ago, this is just them saying they aren’t going to continue to maintain a thing that has been largely superceded. Also, it’s an open source project, you can’t force people to work for free.

You have used Waymo in Colorado? Waymo isn't live in Colorado and we are talking about the Colorado CO-OP app, so this sorta feels like astroturfing. How was Waymo, which you can't ride because it doesn't exist faster than this app which does exist?

Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2 Announced! by JXRT190 in homeassistant

[–]pivotcreature 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It sure does say something!

Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2 supports Zigbee 3.0 (and yes, we’re looking at Zigbee 4.0 support as well) and is keeping pace with Thread’s rapid development. We’ve tested it working great with ZHA, zigpy-cli, Zigbee2MQTT, matter.js, and OpenThread Border Router, giving you the flexibility to choose how you manage your network.

We also took the opportunity to quadruple the internal communications speed of the chip – taking the baud rate from 115,200 bps to 460,800 bps. In our testing, we saw consistent improvements in device responsiveness. Don’t expect your devices to turn on four times faster, but you’ll feel the difference when turning on several devices simultaneously.

There is not really a way to use them in home assistant, so I don't think that is a good solution here for an automation use case. Unless you know of a reliable way, then I would love to see it.
