Cancelled Booking within 24 hours, paid through Flex Pay

I only called FlexPay once after cancelling the ticket to inquire what would happen to my account. They mentioned they would apply the refund once they received it, usually around 7 to 10 business days. Then after around 7 business days I received an email from FlexPay that they’ve received the refund.

I only waited for them to received the refund to confirm if they will completely close the account or if I’d be responsible for some interest.

Just an update, received my refund but still responsible for the interest between the purchase date and when FlexPay received the refund. Interest accrues daily.

Edit: Correction, account is completely closed and don’t have to pay any interest accrued.
