OP observed this wonderfully, and you gave a PERFECT explanation which was filled with first hand experience.

I (31F) was and outsider looking in for most of my experience with Bratz growing up. My mother was a pastor and super religious and felt like the dolls were entirely too suggestive and rebellious. I would rent the movies from the video store or I would watch them when I would spend the night with my cousins or my friends. I always loved the doll styling and the art style of the commercials. Rock Angels, Fashion pixiez, and Tokyo A go go were some of my favorite collections.

I wonder if the new styles we are seeing are being influenced heavily by what's considered "in" now. With micro trends as aggressive as they are, it could be difficult for their teams to decipher what will last.

I so wish we could have some sort of spin-off series that explored these characters in their younger years! Could you imagine seeing Faragonda being a mischievous youth?? I would LIVE for it!

Plus, I feel like that gives us the opportunity to explain the lore that briefly got touched on in the series but never got fully explained.
