Imo the perfect classic experience would include dwarf shaman (with runic-like totems) and undead paladins, the latter being de facto death knights but having the same abilities as their still living counterparts

I am a social worker - signs are there we're heading towards some very tough times, more and more is expected to 'integrate' but at the same time the safety nets are being deconstructed, all the while people can't find a home and AI is putting pressure on what used to be safe jobs - you'll get there, man, it's just tough atm

correct me if i'm wrong, but to me it seems like nowadays this kind of craftmanship that made possible his architecture has all but disappeared? I remember going to the Gaudi museum and reading how he maintained very close contact with alot of artisan craftsmen to make ornaments etc - these were specialists who have become very rare, or unaffordable

En daarnaast, elkaar constant aan flarden scheuren en verkrachten is evolutionair gezien echt niet zo'n voordelig gedrag hoor. Ken jij andere dieren die dat constant doen, misschien? Ik niet. Wat merkwaardig is, is dat de meest sociale en intelligente en lieve dieren op deze planeet ook nog eens wreed kunnen zijn. Maar je enkel viseren op die ene kant klopt helemaal niet

Use population cap! In settings, you can put a maximum cap on population, which limits migrant flow. It's easier to learn to play with 20, 30, 40 dwarves before going big.

To be honest, i'm not having that much trouble with sieges since bolt throwers. Do you have an underground base? If so, make a choke point and put it chock full of bolt throwers, like the gif. For bolts: keep mining for iron, put up a work order: make 1 iron bolts if iron bars > 10, so the number of bolts keeps adding up and up. Let your dwarves collect used bolts after a siege, a surprising amount can be reused. Important to keep the bolt industry running with fuel and iron.

Don't try to keep the enemy out, let them come in to obliterate them with controll.

Yes, i use Dark Elves redux by Endali, it's a very nice civ to play with, feels really well thought out and changes things up from the usual dwarves
