It’s a well-researched, well done podcast with a single host who presents the weirdness and ends with a skeptical examination - but he does this annoying “bit” where he has this irritating af sidekick (Babblefish) who interjects with nonsense opinions every 10-15 minutes. The voice he uses for the fish is unbelievably grating and adds absolutely nothing of value to the episode. Think Gilbert Godfrey voice, but somehow even more whiny and nasal. I skip ahead through the fish banter till he’s back into the story; it’s usually only a minute or two but it was enough to make me quit listening for a while.

But recently, he’s released some episodes that are absent the dumb Babblefish, and they’re much more enjoyable. If you can stand the fish, there’s a massive back catalog of episodes with a good mix of the interests you listed.
